As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that taking care of your mental health is one of the most important investments you can make in yourself. I’ve worked with clients from many walks of life, but my primary focus is helping adults who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges find clarity, peace, and balance again.

I love to provide a safe and comfortable environment for people to share their problems and issues with me. I believe in meeting people where they are, regardless of race, gender, or social/economic status. I work mostly with young adults struggling with life challenges such as relationship issues, job stress, self esteem, and substance abuse issues. I also have a specialty in working with people with Borderline Personality Disorders, and helping others who may have a parent or loved on with BPD. I have been in the mental health field for over 8 years working as a caser manager for kids 6 to 17, working at a rehab facility, working as a substance abuse counselor in a prison and running my private practice. I offer EMDR, Trauma Informed CBT, DBT, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness based approaches. Are you riding the hot mess express? When is the last time you had a good cry and not because you are angry? Do you feel like a robot and/or don't know what you want and need? Do you know exactly why you do what you do and still can't make any changes? Have you got in trouble because you used unhealthy coping skills and wants to learn how to do different? I have helped people from many different backgrounds and lived experiences get to a point where there they can live the life they want and not the one their past has created for them. I only have two rules for my clients: "you aren't allowed to say sorry because you didn't do anything wrong" and "you are allowed to tell me no". I use whatever method my client needs to help either process the past or learn new skills in the present. Not all therapy requires you to process the past.

I enjoy working with clients who feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, emotionally stuck, or unsure of their next step, want to expand they choices, improve decision-making, and respond to life with more intention instead of reacting from stress or fear.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m a wife to an amazing therapist, a mom of four children, an avid crocheter, and gardener. These parts of my life help shape the warmth, creativity, and groundedness I bring into my work.

I also participate in local wellness fairs where I share mental health education, resources, and support efforts to reduce the stigma around seeking help.
I began my work in mental health in 2005 after earning my degree in psychology, starting in adolescent residential care before moving into one-on-one therapy. With a master’s in clinical psychology and experience supporting people through trauma, anxiety, stress, and life transitions, I provide humanistic, person-centered care that treats the whole individual, not just their symptoms. As someone who has lived with type 1 diabetes for over thirty-five years, I understand the daily work of seeking peace and stability, and I bring that compassion into my work with clients.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I help clients build emotional regulation skills, increase self-awareness, explore patterns, and identify choices that support confidence, healing, and personal growth. Validation, empathy, and humor are key tools I use to make healing feel not only possible but hopeful. Together, we work to foster lasting change, create healthier coping strategies, and develop a stronger, more empowered sense of self.
Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but with the right support, transformation is always within reach. I am here to walk with you, every step of the way, toward a future filled with healing, strength, and peace.
I help high functioning women who are exhausted from always being "the strong one". Through trauma-informed therapy, I help clients understand survival patterns, heal from past experiences, set healthier boundaries, navigate burnout and life transitions. As your therapist, i'm not interested in simply helping you "cope", I'm interested in helping build a life that feels grounded, balanced and sustainable.
My practice, The Culture of Rest, serves women who look like they have everything together on the outside, but internally feel exhausted, anxious, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that once kept them safe. The name itself reflects my philosophy that rest isn't something that is a reward for achieving. Rest is something that I teach you to reclaim as a part of healing.
Outside of therapy, I provide forensic mental health evaluations for individuals navigating the immigration process.
Hello, I'm Brianna but most people call me Bri. I create a warm, welcoming and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, challenge unhelpful thought patterns and build practical coping skills. I’ve had the honor of supporting clients across all stages of life, from young children to older adults. I find great joy in supporting people as they discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create lives that feel more meaningful and peaceful. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, roller skating, singing, and embracing creative hobbies.
Hi, I’m Jessica Vargas LCSW, LISW and I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. Life can become overwhelming, whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, stress, major life changes, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical. I work collaboratively with each client to understand what is happening beneath the surface while developing realistic tools and strategies that can create meaningful change. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Your experiences, goals, and strengths are unique, and our work together should reflect that.
I work with teens, adults, and couples who may be struggling with emotional challenges, relationship concerns, communication, self-esteem, life transitions, family conflict, stress, or other challenges that are making it difficult to feel like themselves. For couples, I provide a supportive space to improve communication, understand patterns within the relationship, and work toward a healthier connection.
As a therapist, I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself—even when things feel messy or difficult. My goal isn’t simply to help you get through a challenging moment, but to help you better understand yourself, build confidence in your ability to cope, and develop skills that continue to serve you beyond therapy.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you’re ready to make a change, I’m here to help you take that first step.

We can also examine together how culture, society, and family influence our worlds, emotions, and identities.
I've been practicing in school and community based settings since 2018, and received my independent license in 2023. Through working with a wide range of ages and populations, I've came to appreciate how hurt and pain are hard to carry alone, and I'm honored to be present on that journey with you. I also offer services in both English and Mandarin/Chinese. Sliding fee appointments for those in need.

I'm Kassandra, a Licensed Independent Social Worker trained at Case Western Reserve University. My clinical foundation was built doing crisis intervention and specialized trauma work with survivors of sexual assault, child abuse, and sex trafficking before. I became independently licensed. That experience isn't a line on a resume. It's the reason. I can sit with the hardest things clients bring in without needing them to minimize, manage, or explain themselves first. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults individually and with couples. I'm explicitly LGBTQIA+-affirming and have experience with transgender and identity-related concerns. I offer telehealth across Ohio and accept insurance through Grow.
Hi, I’m Lisa Knight, LPCC. I’m passionate about supporting children, teens, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges, whether that’s coping with trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or adjusting to difficult transitions. My approach is both compassionate and practical, tailored to each person’s unique journey. In our work together, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be heard and understood, explore your feelings and experiences, and gain tools to make meaningful, lasting changes in your life. I aim to empower you to feel stronger, more confident, and equipped to handle whatever comes your way.
# Welcome to The Unraveling Room.
For more than 25 years, I have worked in community mental health, crisis intervention, and hospital-based psychiatric practice.
I've learned something along the way:
**People are complicated.**
I'm comfortable there.
Maybe your story includes trauma, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, chronic pain, complex medical conditions, or functional seizures (PNES). Maybe you've collected diagnoses, medications, specialists, and years of therapy—and still feel that no one quite understands the whole story.
**You are not a diagnosis.**
And you are not a problem waiting for the right therapeutic technique.
You are a story.
I don't fear your anger. Your intensity. Your contradictions. Your messy history. Or the part of your story you've been afraid to say out loud.
**Bring it.**
I am an active therapist. I listen deeply, but I also ask questions. I notice patterns. I make connections. I challenge when I believe it matters.
We may laugh.
We may work on practical skills.
And sometimes we will sit together with something neither of us can fix.
Medication can be an important tool. Medical care matters. When appropriate, I will collaborate with your psychiatric or medical providers.
But **the relationship matters.**
Twenty-five years of experience cannot replace what happens between two people in a therapy room.
And I am not the therapist for everyone.
If you want someone to mostly listen, I may not be your therapist.
But if you want someone willing to enter the labyrinth with you—to ask difficult questions, follow unexpected turns, and stay when things get uncomfortable—we might fit.
Our lives are patterns woven from countless threads.
Some we chose.
Some were handed to us.
Some held us together.
Some became knots.
**We don't unravel you.**
We unravel the pattern.
**Bring your story. Bring the threads.**
Let's see where they lead.
