Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LISW-CP) based in North and South Carolina. I earned my Master’s from Simmons University and have been practicing since 2018. Reaching out for support takes a lot of courage and curiosity—and I want to acknowledge that just by being here, you’re already taking an important step. Life has a way of creating all kinds of transitions. Some can feel like waves of excitement and full of growth and opportunity, while others feel overwhelming, unclear, scary, or just plain hard. I work with people navigating many types of life changes, including (and not limited to): grief and loss, caregiving burnout, medical diagnoses, changes in independence, identity exploration, and retirement. And with those changes often come things like anxiety, depression, loneliness, or feeling disconnected from yourself. My approach is holistic, somatic informed, and person-centered. That means we’ll focus on your strengths, your body and mind, your story, and what matters most to you as we work together to bring more balance, purpose, and joy into your life. You don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to support you.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves. My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not. Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.

Hello, I’m Dulcie. Have you been struggling and wondering why it’s so hard to feel happy, have a positive outlook, and accomplish the goals you have for your life? Are feelings of disappointment, confusion, and failure contributing to problems with your emotional health and relationships? Do you feel like nothing will ever change so what’s the point in trying? Well, let me tell you why, you are worth it and it’s never too late to invest in YOU! I have many years of experience counseling great people just like you, working together to navigate life’s obstacles, find common sense solutions, and help guide and support you during life transitions. If you allow me to go on this journey of change with you, I will focus on a person-centered approach where your needs, goals, and objectives will be the roadmap for our work together. I will use evidence-based treatment techniques, largely based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you identify and change patterns in thinking and behavior that may be contributing to your current dissatisfaction. But perhaps even more important than the therapeutic approach employed, I will endeavor to build a relationship with you by being present, genuine, honest, and compassionate. I have learned that the outcomes my clients achieve are often a reflection of the strength of our therapeutic relationship. So, are you ready to partner with me as you endeavor to overcome the situations, relationship challenges, or symptoms that seem to be barriers between you and your best life? If so, I am committed to walking with you on your journey.

Having been through a lot in my teenage years into adulthood, where I learned self-confidence, I have found that if I had someone to help me work through issues of stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and many other life factors I would have been successful sooner. I have experience in diverse cultures where I have found I learn just as much from the people around me as they learn from me. Having an open mind and listening to my clients helps me to relate and understand them and develop a treatment plan or plan of action with them that makes them feel comfortable. I have an extensive history helping individuals understand their career path, educational needs, and learning life skills. I have a passion for mental health because of the family history with depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, and substance abuse, and it drives me to want to help others. I believe it is important to empower individuals, couples, and families towards a sense of normalcy and autonomy, and developing skills to meet the goals they have for their lives. Taking a holistic approach to counseling I take into consideration the whole person and stive to build a good working relationship with each client to better understand them, helping them feel at ease at a time that may feel stressful and awkward, and helping them navigate life's challenges. In my free time I like to go to the beach, take a walk in nature, and enjoy spending time with my children and 2 dogs. I also enjoy learning, reading, and going to amusement parks when time allows.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience supporting women through the complexities of life, relationships, and personal growth. In my practice, I work with professional women navigating anxiety, stress, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the unique pressures that often come with being a woman who is expected to have it all together. My work is rooted in helping women break free from the expectations of others—and the curated expectations created by social media—and reconnect with what feels authentic to them. My approach is direct, supportive, and intentional. Together, we explore the patterns, beliefs, and expectations that may be keeping you stuck and what it could look like to move through life with greater confidence, clarity, and intention. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Hi! I am a dually licensed therapist in both Florida and North Carolina. I began my education later in my adult life, and believed I had arrived late to the game. But I found that life experience paired with my own belief system, allowed me the opportunity to view life's challenges through a unique lens, and because of that I am non-judgmental and empathetic towards people who are struggling with the hurts life has dealt them. I believe in using a collaborative approach in helping my clients. I use evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Therapy, as well as Christian Counseling. I am supportive, yet direct with empathy, compassion and help you address the barriers in your life that are causing you pain and distress.

I help high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or constantly “on.” On the outside, things may look fine—career, responsibilities, relationships—but internally, you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt that won’t turn off. My clinical background includes training in fast-paced, high-expectation environments where effective, evidence-based care was essential. I use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies to help you understand patterns, build practical skills, and create meaningful change. I began my clinical work as a Behavioral Health Officer in the U.S. Army, where I worked in high-stress operational settings. While that experience gave me a strong understanding of pressure, burnout, and performance demands, my work today is focused on helping adults in all walks of life navigate similar challenges. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded—I aim to create a space where you can be yourself while doing real, meaningful work.

I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives. Many clients tell me they appreciate my conversational, down-to-earth style. While therapy can involve discussing difficult topics, I also believe healing can include moments of humor, self-discovery, and recognizing your strengths along the way. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, processing trauma, navigating a major life transition, or working to create healthier relationships, you do not have to face it alone. I am committed to providing affirming care for individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, bicultural/biracial, neurodivergent, ability-diverse, and those from underrepresented communities.

Hi! I'm a dually Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) working in the Raleigh NC area. I received my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from the North Carolina State University and have been practicing for 7 years. I love what I do, I left a successful career when I was in my mid 40's to go to college so I could become a social worker. I became a LCSW because I lost a partner when I was in my early 30's and a LCSW helped me navigate a new beginning and changed my life forever.
