You know what you need to do. So why is it so hard to actually do it? If ADHD, anxiety, or procrastination has you overthinking, falling behind, and feeling far from your best self, you're not lazy and you're not alone. I'm a North Carolina therapist specializing in ADHD, executive function, and anxiety in adults. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who already understand themselves well. What gets in the way is knowing what to do differently when real-life demands, emotions, or old habits take over. I help clients turn insight into action by breaking practical strategies into small, doable steps and working through whatever keeps them from sticking. Sessions are virtual, so therapy fits into a busy life.

Howdy! My name is Russell and I look forward to meeting you and working together! Taking the step to seek out therapy services can be the biggest hurdle to overcome, yet here you are. You made it! Even exploring options for therapy demonstrates the motivation that you have for positive change in your life. I enjoy taking a collaborative approach to working with all of my clients because you are the expert in your own life and know yourself the best. I am here as a support while you discover more about yourself. I am a LCMHC (Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor) with the state of North Carolina. I have a background working with various ages and demographics in a variety of settings. This includes children aged 6+ to pre-teens, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I have worked in inpatient hospital settings, assisted with Intensive In-Home services for at-risk youth and their families, as well as with clients in traditional office-based environments providing outpatient therapy. My clinical expertise and the most frequent concerns that I help clients with are anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger management, relationship issues, family issues, and phase of life concerns. I tend to naturally gravitate toward adolescents who are struggling with navigating their lives, however, I enjoy working with all individuals regardless of age or background since life is a struggle for all of us. I tend to take a laid-back, relaxed (but professional) stance when working with clients to make the therapeutic process as welcoming and comfortable as possible!

Would you like to create space for work/ life balance? Would it be helpful to learn more about the connection between your behaviors, feelings, and thoughts? Are you ready to talk about coping strategies- both those that work and learn new ones? I work collaboratively with individuals and families to manage stressors, feelings of stress and anxiety, and cope with addictions. I help clients develop coping strategies that may challenge past thoughts and behaviors but lead toward the accomplishment of goals. Sometimes, it is simply reminding ourselves of what worked before and getting back on track and other times, it is about learning something never practiced before.

Hello! My name is Clover and I am a licensed clinical therapist and addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina. I look forward to the opportunity of learning and working together as part of our therapeutic process. I enjoy working with folks who are gender diverse and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who experience unique stressors and conflicts with their day-to-day lives. I also love working with folks who struggle with substance use either in addition to other life stressors or on its own especially in the context of substance use disorders being highly stigmatized. I focus on substance use treatment approaches with a functionality mindset to work on setting reasonable goals and expectations during the clinical process. I started my clinical work with addiction and grew as a therapist and person to see people from a whole-person perspective. Our difficulties, conflicts, our stressors do not define us for who we are and when they prevent or delay us from becoming our authentic selves is where the therapeutic process blossoms. I believe everybody is always in a constant process of growing into our best selves and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you along this process too.

My name is Jay and through personalized treatment, I help individuals access authentic emotional awareness and guide them toward true healing, I am a licensed clinical social worker and therapist who has been providing mental health services directly to people for over 20 years. In addition, I was working in the mental health field for 3 years before earning my Masters's Degree in Social Work, making it 27 years in the profession of directly helping others. I have worked successfully with clients of all ages who presented with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, stress, ADHD, relationship issues, struggles with parenting, substance use and abuse, career and job issues as well as survivors of trauma such as abuse and neglect. My therapy style tends to be warm, supportive, flexible, relaxed and can easily be adaptable to whatever you feel is important to you. I treat everyone with the utmost respect and consider myself to be very compassionate towards others. My approach tends to be eclectic and is a blend of several styles, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, humanism, strengths-based and mindfulness, with unconditional support serving as the common foundation. I know that it takes courage and strength to look inwards and consider making a shift in any part of your life and I appreciate your willingness to do so, and it's important to know that you do not have to do it alone. I would welcome and greatly appreciate the opportunity to help you meet your specific needs and improve your life experience. I look forward to meeting and working with you!
