New to Grow
I’m a licensed clinical social worker with experience in crisis response, trauma counseling, domestic violence advocacy, and guiding clients through life’s most challenging transitions. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems to help you build practical skills while exploring the deeper patterns that shape your experiences. I believe therapy works best when we collaborate toward clear, meaningful goals. My role is to offer a grounded, compassionate space where you can explore what’s happening in your life, understand your internal world with more clarity, and build tools that help you feel more stable, confident, and empowered. Whether you’re working through trauma, managing stress, or trying to make sense of a difficult season, I’m here to support you with respect, curiosity, and a supportive presence.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and talk about what led you to seek therapy. Together, we’ll clarify your goals, discuss how we’ll work together, and identify the approaches that may best support you. My aim is for you to leave the session with a sense of clarity, direction, and hope about the path ahead.
My greatest strengths lie in creating a calm, compassionate, and non‑judgmental space where people feel genuinely heard and supported. I bring a steady presence to difficult situations and draw on strong skills in crisis intervention, trauma‑informed care, and practical problem‑solving. While I use evidence‑based approaches like CBT and Internal Family Systems, I always tailor my methods to the unique needs of each person. Above all, I care deeply about helping people move toward a life that feels safer, more stable, and more aligned with who they want to be.
I am best positioned to serve adults who are navigating overwhelming stress, trauma, or major life transitions and want a grounded, compassionate space to regain stability and move forward. Many of my clients are coping with anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, domestic violence, or the lingering impact of traumatic experiences. I also work well with individuals who feel “stuck” in survival mode and need practical, strengths‑based support to rebuild safety, confidence, and direction. Because of my background as a police social worker and community‑based clinician, I am especially effective with clients who are dealing with crisis, high‑stress environments, or complex systems. I support people who may be juggling multiple challenges at once and who benefit from a therapist who can offer both emotional support and concrete, actionable steps. My ideal client is someone who wants a collaborative, non‑judgmental therapeutic relationship. You don’t need to have everything figured out; you only need to be willing to show up as you are. Together, we work to reduce distress, strengthen coping skills, and build a life that feels safer, more empowered, and more aligned with your values.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In our work together, I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help us explore the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions. We'll identify patterns that might be making you feel distressed or stuck and practice practical tools to shift those thoughts. We'll develop goals where we focus on building skills you can use in your daily life right away.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
In Internal Family Systems, we view the mind like a family where different 'parts' have different roles. You might notice one part of you is very critical, while another part gets overwhelmed and shuts down easily. All of these parts are there for a reason. The goal of this method is to create internal harmony between all the parts of you with self-compassion and allow You to be the leader of all the parts, rather than letting them pull you in many directions.
