Call me Ben! I've been in private practice for 5 years and the mental health field at-large for close to a decade. I'm a big advocate for mindfulness (and ACT) and how it can be used alongside and incorporated into the therapeutic relationship to make tremendous strides in addressing one's mental health. I live in Asheville, North Carolina with my wife and our two cats. I love to go hiking and kayaking, I own a record store where I also work, and love a good gaming session with my friends.

Peace Peace, My name is Jarrett,
Have you been feeling a little down lately? Anxious, frustrated, and/or depressed about a current or past situation? As if you’ve lost sight of the person, you are or want to be. As we grow through life, we can expect challenges and changes. However, our perspective of those situations can dictate our emotional or behavioral responses.
Let's begin to move forward, step by step. Let's partner together. First, we will build a trusting therapeutic relationship, then I will cultivate a safe space of understanding, healing, and growth, through evidence-based practices in hopes of you becoming the best version of yourself.
Hi, I'm Alane, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving individuals in Texas and North Carolina through virtual therapy. I work with people who look like they have it all together but feel overwhelmed behind the scenes. Many of my clients are capable, independent, and used to being the ones others rely on, but have reached a point where simply pushing through is no longer sustainable.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, burnout, stress, life transitions, silent grief, relationship challenges, and the pressure of balancing personal and professional responsibilities. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, creating a space where you can feel understood while exploring the patterns, experiences, and expectations that shape how you move through life.
Together, we’ll build self-awareness, strengthen boundaries, and develop tools that support meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy is not about changing who you are, but about helping you reconnect with yourself, understand your strengths, and create a life that feels more aligned with your values. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and capable of navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity and self-trust.
Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) based out of Morehead City, North Carolina. I have my Masters in Counseling from East Carolina University and have been working in this area for the past 14 years. I have mostly been working with adolescent and young adults during this time, but can work with any aged client that is ready to begin their counseling journey.
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who provides a supportive, collaborative, and trauma-informed space for clients to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, respectful, and individualized, not rushed or one-size-fits-all. My role is to meet you where you are, help you make sense of your experiences, and support you in building skills and insight that translate into real-life change.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and informed by evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Child–Parent Psychotherapy when working with children and families. In practice, this means we may focus on understanding patterns between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors; strengthening emotional regulation and coping skills; exploring how past relationships impact present ones; clarifying values; or gently processing difficult experiences at a pace that feels manageable. I place a strong emphasis on collaboration and choice, ensuring you remain an active participant in your care.
I work with adults, children, adolescents, and caregivers navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating despite their best efforts. Together, we work to increase clarity, self-compassion, and confidence while developing practical tools you can use outside of sessions.
Above all, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward in a way that feels authentic, sustainable, and aligned with your values.

Hello! My name is Chandra and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in North Carolina. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University School of Social Work (IUPUI). I help people cope with life transitions and the stress that comes along with them. I have 19 years of experience working with youth and families in various settings.
Hello! My name is Clover and I am a licensed clinical therapist and addiction specialist in the state of North Carolina. I look forward to the opportunity of learning and working together as part of our therapeutic process. I enjoy working with folks who are gender diverse and members of the LGBTQIA+ community who experience unique stressors and conflicts with their day-to-day lives. I also love working with folks who struggle with substance use either in addition to other life stressors or on its own especially in the context of substance use disorders being highly stigmatized. I focus on substance use treatment approaches with a functionality mindset to work on setting reasonable goals and expectations during the clinical process. I started my clinical work with addiction and grew as a therapist and person to see people from a whole-person perspective. Our difficulties, conflicts, our stressors do not define us for who we are and when they prevent or delay us from becoming our authentic selves is where the therapeutic process blossoms.
I believe everybody is always in a constant process of growing into our best selves and I hope to have the opportunity to work with you along this process too.
Hi!

I have worked successfully with clients of all ages who presented with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, stress, ADHD, relationship issues, struggles with parenting, substance use and abuse, career and job issues as well as survivors of trauma such as abuse and neglect.
My therapy style tends to be warm, supportive, flexible, relaxed and can easily be adaptable to whatever you feel is important to you. I treat everyone with the utmost respect and consider myself to be very compassionate towards others. My approach tends to be eclectic and is a blend of several styles, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, humanism, strengths-based and mindfulness, with unconditional support serving as the common foundation.

For 10 years, I’ve served North Carolina as a Licensed Counselor, supporting clients of all ages through life’s challenges. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where each person is met with understanding that enables them to move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. Therapy goes far beyond building insight, because insight alone doesn’t create lasting change.
I am a licensed therapist with over 7 years of experience specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), couples counseling, and Christian counseling. My passion is helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, emotional resilience, and purpose.
In my work with individuals, I primarily use CBT to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that impact their mood and behavior. I believe in a practical, goal-oriented approach that equips clients with tools they can apply in everyday life, whether they're dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions. My sessions are collaborative and supportive, creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
With couples, I focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and resolving conflict in ways that foster deeper connection. I draw from evidence-based methods like the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy, tailoring the process to fit each couple’s unique dynamic.
For those who desire a faith-based approach, I also offer Christian counseling. I integrate biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual reflection into the therapeutic process when appropriate. This allows for holistic healing that honors both emotional and spiritual needs, offering hope and a stronger sense of purpose.
What sets my practice apart is my commitment to creating a warm, judgment-free environment where real change can take place. I see therapy as a partnership—one that honors your story, builds on your strengths, and supports you in becoming the person or couple you’re called to be.
Whether you’re facing a specific struggle or simply seeking to grow, I’m here to walk with you through the process. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to go through it alone.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (S10174) in North Carolina. I received my MA in Community and Mental Health Counseling, from Webster University in 2011. I have been in clinical practice since 2012. I have a myriad of counseling experience working with children, adults, couples, and families that have focused on a variety of presenting problems such as depression, divorce recovery, marital conflict, anxiety, codependency, parenting techniques, grief, sexual brokenness and life transition.
I provide an individualized treatment approach, displaying honesty and empathy while also offering a space that's safe and allows you to be your true self. I am dedicated to making the treatment experience worthwhile as we all strive to become a better version of ourselves.
I work with adults who are capable, responsible, and hard-working—but feel like they’re struggling to keep up with everything life demands. Many are dealing with ADHD, anxiety, overwhelm, procrastination, or difficulty following through, even when they know what they want to do. If you often think, “I know what I need to do—I just can’t seem to make it happen,” therapy can help bridge that gap. I take a practical, yet empathetic and collaborative approach focused on understanding your experience and what may be getting in the way.
Outside of therapy, I’m a parent, fiction writer, guitarist, and Korean-language learner. I believe meaningful change happens through curiosity, practice, and small, sustainable steps.
Hi there, I’m Melissa. If life feels heavy right now, you’re in the right place.
When you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just tired of carrying everything by yourself, it can be tough to know where to start. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, and other challenges who are looking for meaningful, sustainable change and a greater sense of balance in their lives.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my style is collaborative, compassionate, and centered on practical tools you can actually use. I take a whole‑person approach to therapy, which means we may explore how different parts of your life—physical, emotional, social, environmental, and spiritual—are shaping your overall well‑being. My goal is to create a space where you can show up honestly and without judgment as we explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and build healthier ways of coping and relating to your thoughts and emotions.
You don’t have to navigate all of this on your own. If you’re ready for support and a space to feel heard, I’m here to help you take the next step.
Many of my clients are women and teen girls (12 and up) who are high-functioning on the outside but feel exhausted, anxious, or disconnected on the inside. You may be managing work, school, relationships, or caregiving while internally feeling overwhelmed, stuck in overthinking, or like you’re running on empty.
If you’re someone who’s tried to “figure it out” on your own or learned coping skills in therapy before but still find yourself falling into the same patterns, you’re not alone. Many of the women I work with come in feeling frustrated that insight hasn’t translated into real change.
In our work together, we focus on getting to the root of what’s keeping you stuck in cycles like burnout, over-functioning, people-pleasing, and difficulty setting boundaries. Instead of just managing symptoms, we work to understand and shift what’s driving them so the change actually lasts.
A key part of this process involves working with your nervous system—not just your thoughts. You may already understand what’s going on logically, but still feel it in your body and day-to-day life. We focus on helping your system feel safer, more grounded, and less reactive so you can begin to break those automatic cycles and respond in new ways.
I integrate EMDR, somatic approaches, attachment-based therapy, TF-CBT, and experiential work to support both emotional processing and practical change. The goal is to help you move from insight into real, sustainable shifts in how you feel, relate, and show up in your life.
Sessions are collaborative and paced so you don’t feel rushed or overwhelmed. The goal is to help you feel more grounded, emotionally steady, and connected to yourself and your relationships.
I also offer trauma intensives for self-pay clients who want deeper, focused work in a shorter period of time.
