I've always wanted to have those deeper conversations, about what matters most to people. Personal talks are the most important talks we ever have. And most people don't spend that much time talking it through with anyone. This might be the best use of an hour you've got. We'll see what we can come up with.

Throughout my career, I have championed family life, serving people of all ages (children, adolescents, adults, seniors) and phases (single, married, parenting, empty nesters, retired, managing chronic health diagnoses). We are wired for connection, but challenges arise when we struggle to keep relationships stable. Life can be overwhelming without the right supports and tools. My goal as a therapist is to help clients maintain wellness in all areas of life. How we think and feel shapes our reality, and I will help you embrace what helps and release what no longer serves you. Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in both New Jersey and Colorado, with over 27 years of experience. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of the most challenging and meaningful moments of their lives. Over the years, I’ve learned that effective counseling isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating a space where people feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they discover their own path forward. My style is eclectic, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches so I can tailor treatment to each unique client’s needs and goals. Whether through exploring emotions, building practical skills, or understanding deeper patterns, I’m committed to partnering with you to help you grow and heal in ways that feel authentic and effective.

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Therapist (FL/NJ/VA). I attempt to resolve the most dominant and deep-seated challenges within 8 to 12 sessions with short-term counseling, if you are ready for change and the best fit for the intervention. My therapeutic approach is based on the individual's specific needs. I also use traditional talk therapy with my clients. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of therapy that enables you to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. I work with adult clients. *NOTE: According to my policy, I do not complete FMLA or disability paperwork at this time.

Do you feel unseen? Misunderstood? Lonely? And ready to do the inner work of healing from your past? Then I am here and ready to support your journey. I am passionate about working with women and teenagers. Often the feelings I’ve described above are due to childhood trauma, and they present as attachment and relational challenges, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. I welcome my clients into a safe, supportive and compassionate space. I offer a listening ear and a loving heart. We journey together to find the techniques in my toolbox that work best to empower you and support your healing that comes from within.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
