Professional -> I am a clinical social worker with 20 years of mixed elementary and middle school Child Study Team experience which includes work with kids/tweens/teens with learning disabilities and/or emotional (predominately anxiety, anger, self-esteem)-social (mild autism spectrum disorder)-behavioral (covers a wide range!) needs, parent support/training.
Personal -> I am a married mom of two, and we are a dog family (dogs for the win! - although we also have a hamster, a lizard, and two degus). I love a traditional board or card game (Uno, Connect 4, Scrabble, Othello are my top!) and I always find a way to use humor - - Dad jokes get me rolling.
If you think you want to meet, but don't see a time that works send me a message and we will work something out.
Feeling lost, alone, and unsure of your next steps? Do you feel like past experiences are holding you back or that low self-esteem keeps you from reaching your potential? I help adults learn how to heal from childhood trauma and build the confidence to live the life they deserve. Everything may seem uncertain now but you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll explore what’s standing in your way and create a path toward growth.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor providing virtual therapy for adults and couples who are ready to move beyond feeling stuck and begin creating meaningful, lasting change. Many of the clients I work with appear to be managing on the outside, while internally navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship strain, or difficulty expressing their needs. If you find yourself overthinking, reacting instead of responding, or repeating patterns that no longer serve you, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
My approach is structured, intentional, and insight-oriented. I focus on helping you strengthen your emotional intelligence—how you understand, manage, and communicate your emotions—because this is the foundation for healthier relationships, clearer decision-making, and improved overall well-being. Together, we will identify patterns, explore the root of your challenges, and develop practical tools that help you respond with clarity and confidence rather than impulse or avoidance.
I work with individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and emotional fatigue, as well as couples working through communication breakdowns, trust concerns, and disconnection. Therapy with me is an active process. It requires honesty, consistency, and a willingness to do the work, but it also creates the opportunity for real, sustainable growth.
If you’re ready to invest in yourself, better understand how you operate emotionally, and begin showing up differently in your life and relationships, this is a space where that work can begin.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping individuals, teens, and families navigate stress, emotional overwhelm, trauma, and major life transitions. Many of the clients I serve are high-functioning, busy, and responsible for everyone else—but silently struggling with anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, or a sense of losing themselves. My goal is to create a safe, warm, and judgment-free space where you can finally exhale, talk openly about your experiences, and gain the emotional tools needed to create meaningful change in your life. I meet clients with compassion, understanding, and practical strategies they can use right away. I believe that healing happens through connection, clarity, and consistent support. I am here to walk beside you as you rediscover your peace, your voice, and your strength.
My path to counseling has been shaped by more than 20 years of experience working in
universities and nonprofits across the U.S., including two decades in academic medicine and
biomedical research administration. As a former biomedical researcher and a leader in administrative research operations, I understand the pressures of high-achievement environments, the complexity of
navigating institutional systems, and the emotional toll that can come with careers in science,
healthcare, and technology. This unique perspective allows me to connect deeply with students,
academics, and professionals working in demanding fields.

Insurance:
Individuals, couples, and families: Services not clinically indicated are not always covered by insurance if the primary client/patient is not experiencing a medical necessity. Here's a few examples:
1. Most insurance plans don’t cover marriage counseling because it’s not considered a "medical necessity." That doesn’t mean therapy isn’t valuable, just that insurance companies tend to focus on diagnosed mental health conditions rather than relationship issues.
2. Life coaching or career coaching — focused on professional development rather than treating a mental health condition
3. General stress management without a diagnosed disorder — for example, “I just feel stressed” without a clinical diagnosis
4. Self-improvement or personal growth sessions aimed at building confidence, public speaking skills, or lifestyle changes
5. Vague or exploratory therapy without a clear diagnosis or treatment plan
6. Non-essential wellness or “feel-good” therapy not tied to a specific mental health need

One of my favorite quotes is, "Nothing great is ever achieved without much endurance." In life, we go through things. Some are good and some are not so good. You made it this far, so that means you have something to work on and you are willing to see if a therapist can help. I have worked with people of all ages, genders, religions, races and sexual orientations. No two people are the same and all people deserve to be seen as the individual whom they are. Therapy may not always be easy, but I will treat you with respect and honesty. This is your platform. I will go at your pace so that you are comfortable, but I will challenge you. Together, we will set a plan and work towards achieving your goals.

Hi! I am a licensed Professional Counselor practicing in NJ. I received two Masters from Rowan University, one in Mental Health Counseling and the other in Counseling in an Educational Setting. I have been doing telehealth since January of 2023. I have extensive experience in helping clients with identifying their needs, setting attainable goals and working towards these goals at the client's own pace.
Hi, I'm Susana
As a therapist, I pay close attention to the details to fully understand a client's unique experience. I understand how difficult it is for a person to deal with negative thinking patterns and I am here to offer a helping hand in hopes of improving your quality of life. It is worth making the connection and considering professional help.
My name is William Dougherty, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania, providing therapy to clients statewide through telehealth. I specialize in working with adults facing challenges related to anxiety, stress, and addictions. My therapeutic approach incorporates a range of techniques, predominantly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness.
With a background in English literature, I bring a decidedly post-modern perspective to my therapeutic approach. One of the concepts I utilize is Narrative Therapy, which encourages and compassionately challenges people to be mindful of the story they’re telling in order to better utilize their strengths. This theory acknowledges the power of language, in that not only does the language we use reflect how we feel, it also affects how we feel. Therefore, the words we choose to use can help to manifest the changes we hope to bring about. The idea is to encourage the use of more positive, as opposed to negative, words while telling our life story. This approach has been remarkably effective in helping clients confront difficulties and bring about lasting and meaningful change.
My name is Priscilla Tixi, and I have my masters in Mental Health Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maine. I have worked in the mental health field for 10 years, primarily for non-profit agencies, and 5 of those years as a mental health therapist. I provide individual therapy for adults 18 and up.
I will support you through life's complexities. My approach centers on understanding your unique journey and offering compassionate, person centered, and solution-focused care that will honor your experiences. My expertise spans a wide range of focus areas, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, workplace/home life challenges, trauma recovery, stress, relationship dynamics, personal growth, women's issues, grief, navigating significant life transitions, etc.
My therapeutic style emphasizes empowerment, self-discovery, and healing. I create a supportive environment where you can explore your emotions, develop meaningful coping strategies, and cultivate greater self-understanding. I'm dedicated to walking alongside you with empathy and professional guidance. I look forward to working with you!
As a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor, I specialize in helping children, families, and adults navigate the challenges of trauma, grief, and life transitions, am pleased to help adults, teens, and families in crisis. With deep cultural awareness and a trauma-informed approach, I create a safe and supportive space where individuals can heal, rebuild, and find resilience. I use Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy initially in my practice.
Life can feel overwhelming when trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship challenges take center stage. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as a whole person—not just a collection of symptoms. I work collaboratively with clients to help them make meaning of their experiences, reconnect with their values, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life. I specialize in trauma and have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance use concerns. I also work with couples and families, supporting healthier communication, deeper understanding, and more secure connections. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply seeking clarity and growth, I aim to meet you where you are with compassion and respect.
My approach is rooted in humanistic and existential therapy, emphasizing personal agency, self-awareness, and the belief that change is possible—even in the midst of pain. I take an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), grief work, and solution-focused interventions, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Healing is not about “fixing” yourself—it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and learning new ways to relate to your experiences. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and move forward with intention.

My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. Also, every late cancellation or no-show accrues a late charge fee.
It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear that the client is no longer beneficent, services are no longer required, counseling no longer serves the client's needs and interests, or Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow the provision of further counseling services.
It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

Hello
I often hear clients say, “I don’t even know where to start” when they first begin therapy. I understand that feeling. The first step is to make sense of what’s happened in your life in order to start to tackle the issues and ultimately make some changes.
I am a seasoned therapist with 17 years experience helping adult clients find their own inner wisdom and strength to resolve issues in their lives. It feels burdensome to rely on friends and family to help us through difficult life challenges. The greatest joy for me as a therapist is to be able to provide a safe space where clients feel unconditionally accepted and heard without judgement. Therapy is a collaborative process where the client and therapist work together to explore and identify barriers which prevent resolution. I believe that the therapeutic alliance between client and provider is key to a successful outcome. I use psychodynamic, solution focused and client centered approaches to help clients gain insight, identify barriers and foster empowerment to make changes and resolve issues.

I am deeply committed to creating spaces for building understanding, receiving validation, and increasing curiosity around the narratives and lived truths of others in order to build accountability and address patterns of internal/external all the way to trans-generational discords.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has dedicated my professional life to the advancement of the human species. What do I mean by the advancement of the human species? Well, no one ever taught us how to be mindful of thought patterns; to be aware of our own scars and biases, no one gave us an instruction book when it comes to dealing with our emotional life and the emotional lives of others. Scary, those big feelings can be. Unless, you have a plan. That is where therapy comes in. We work together to develop plans to assure you accomplish the goals you set for yourself.

I. Barry Bell, Ph.D. I am a 73-year-old, male, Caucasian Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for 39 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, in both in-patient psychiatric hospitals and out-patient clinical settings. I have also maintained my own private practice from September 2016 to the present.
Prior to receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1985, I trained extensively as a Modern Dancer for 10 years. During these years I became deeply involved in emerging positive psychologies and Eastern/Buddhist/Taoist studies. This was the beginning of the interface between what is now referred to as Mindfulness based approaches to psychotherapy and Eastern philosophies, especially Buddhist. Mindfulness approaches to psychotherapy are now at the forefront of evidence-based interventions.
I have spent more than the past 20 years studying and practicing the interface between psychotherapy and personal psychological growth. Over the years I have integrated various theoretical approaches, including depth psychodynamic theories. I will be happy to discuss my approach with you further should you choose to contact me to consider engaging in psychotherapeutic work with me.
