LPC, 11 years of experience
For over a decade, I've immersed myself in the realm of mental health care, where I meet my clients in the place they are in their emotional/psychological struggles. I am passionate about making a lasting positive impact in each and every client's life. To that end, I obtained a bachelor's, a master’s and a doctorate degrees in psychology. My therapeutic approach is as diverse as the stories I encounter, tailored to resonate with each person’s unique journey.
During the first session, the client and I will get a moment of introduction, where we'll also begin the process of building a good rapport, which is essential to a positive therapeutic outcome.
I provide a safe and judgment-free environment for my clients to freely express themselves in order to unpack what brought them to therapy. I also insert some humor at appropriate times, as it has proven to be effective in releasing any tensions from mental health problems. Additionally, compassion is an ever present component of my therapeutic approach.
Advocating for mental well-being, I champion the belief that every person deserves a safe space to be heard, understood, and uplifted. I provide services to clients grappling with depression, anxiety, couples and/or family conflicts, low self-esteem, and grief etc.
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an effective therapeutic method that facilities the management of such strong emotions as anxiety, depression, OCD, and low self-esteem etc. DBT also helps in navigating relationship conflicts through healthy communication skills.

I love my time with Dr Louise. Immediately you will find that her voice is comforting. I actually look forward to our sessions and know she is taking it all in and giving me direct, uplifting and positive energy in return. She remembers our previous conversations which is most helpful and honestly, her warmth is like receiving a hug when you need it most.
