Hello, I am a Clinical Therapist and Epidemiologist. I started college at the age of 14. Since then, I have attended 3 prestigious universities. I have developed curriculum for several states in thousands of schools. I have been a children's, courts, school, outpatient, and substance abuse therapist. I love all populations, people, ages, and lifestyles. My purpose is to help and grow my clients. I will learn from you just like you will learn from me, this is a partnership. I have a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Master of Social Work, and a Master of Medicine in Public Health from Wayne State University School of Medicine. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, and my specialty is Clinical (LMSW-C). I would love to help you process, restore, understand, replenish, and grow your world.
As an individual who struggled with alcohol addiction, depression, and anxiety, my life experiences, as well as my education and faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of my life, have provided me with the opportunity to serve those who are struggling with life. Everyone has life struggles. I am prepared to help individuals and couples learn how to live life amidst struggles, such as depression, addiction, worry, financial stress, or marriage difficulties. I am blessed and honored to be in a position to use the gifts God has entrusted me with to serve others.
My specialty area is addictions. I struggled with alcohol addiction for about 23 years. Through God's redeeming grace and an excellent education, I am well equipped to help those struggling with addiction and the anxiety, depression, worry, and fear that may or may not be attached to the addiction.
My life experience with addiction has equipped me with an understanding about addiction. Not just for the individual, but for the affected family/social network as well. My education at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary has also equipped me with God's ultimate resource for our afflictions - The Word of God.
Hi, I’m James. I have been counseling for several years. The counseling experience with me is a partnership, not me pontificating to you about how you should be living your life. You are more than a partner in this process, you are the leader for managing your wellness with me offering feedback and guidance as necessary.

Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Michigan since 2015. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I help adults of all ages manage life transitions, mood disorders, concerns about substance use and being late-diagnosed neurodivergent. I support all pathways to recovery and incorporate a harm-reduction approach when appropriate. I am ND and LGBTQIA- affirming.
As a behaviorist, I believe that the environments in which we develop ultimately play the most significant role in our actions, decisions, and outcomes. Without the proper space for growth, healing, and self-development, one may face difficulties in achieving self-realization and self-actualization. Human-beings are social creatures – genetically designed, behaviorally conditioned, and evolutionarily driven. We possess certain intrinsic, natural needs and adaptations that have developed over millions of years. If these dualistically basic and complex needs remain unfulfilled, we will struggle to attain this self-actualization.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and dialectal behavioral. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. My hours are 8 am to 2pm Monday through Friday . I have different hours for sessions and those include nights and weekends. Please visit my schedule. I have times and days blocked out for those who need special times like early morning, evenings and weekends. Please ask so I can open an appointment. I am very accommodating to scheduling. I create a safe, supportive environment tailored to each client’s unique needs, using interventions like CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic therapy. My focus is on empowering clients, honoring their autonomy, working together to set meaningful goals, and tracking progress at their own pace. My mission is to offer compassionate, high-quality psychological support that respects each person's values and supports lasting healing and growth.
I provide clinical therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and the various stressors that can impact daily functioning. Through a collaborative and evidence-based approach, we will assess the underlying factors contributing to your distress, identify maladaptive patterns in thoughts and behaviors, and implement strategies designed to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and overall well-being. The pace of therapy will be guided by your comfort and readiness. My goal is to provide a structured, supportive, and effective space where you can grow, heal, and build the skills to improve your overall well-being.
Hello, and welcome.
I’m truly glad you’re here.
Taking the first step toward support can be difficult, and simply being here today reflects a great deal of courage, hope, and self-compassion. Whether you're facing a specific challenge, feeling overwhelmed, or simply seeking a space to better understand yourself, you deserve care, support, and the opportunity to be heard.
My name is Renee, and I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2014. For more than 12 years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from many different backgrounds and life experiences. One of the greatest honors is helping someone move toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of peace.
I understand that finding the right therapist can feel vulnerable. You may have questions, uncertainties, or even mixed emotions about beginning this process and that's completely okay. There is no pressure to have everything figured out before you begin. Healing is not about having all the answers; it's about having a safe place to explore them. I would love to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to help you make your decison.
My hope is to create a warm, welcoming, and compassionate space where you feel seen, valued, and accepted exactly as you are. A space where you can speak openly, feel safe to process life's challenges, celebrate your strengths, and move towards a life worth living.
Whatever has brought you here, please know that you do not have to carry it alone. Support is available, and meaningful change is possible.
I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey. When you're ready, let's talk.
Greetings! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 15 years of experience working with children, families, and adults. Throughout my career, I have discovered a particular passion for helping adults navigate life's challenges, including relationship concerns, career transitions, marital issues, stress management, and personal growth.
I have received specialized training and certifications in several evidence-based therapeutic modalities, allowing me to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. Together, we will work to identify obstacles, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change that supports your overall well-being.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward greater clarity, balance, and fulfillment.
My approach to therapy is solution-focused, compassionate, and centered on helping clients build lasting skills. Rather than simply helping someone get through the current crisis, I want to equip them with the tools they need to navigate future challenges with greater confidence and independence.
I focus on identifying and addressing the underlying issues that drive recurring patterns, whether that's unresolved childhood trauma, deeply held negative beliefs about oneself, or other core experiences. My goal is to help clients process those experiences, challenge unhelpful cognitions, and develop healthier, more adaptive beliefs about themselves.
While it's important to acknowledge and address what's happening in a client's life right now, I believe lasting change comes from understanding and working through the deeper patterns that contribute to those challenges. I strive to balance supporting clients through present-day concerns with helping them create meaningful, long-term change.
I specialize in holistic mental health and wellness, meaning I support clients in caring for their whole selves. I work with individuals across the lifespan, including children, youth, and adults, to promote well-being, growth, and development.
While I have specialized experience in maternal and women’s mental health, I also support men, children, couples, and families navigating life transitions, identity development, relationships, and everyday life challenges.
I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan, a Doctor of Social Work, and a Certified Lactation Counselor.
I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive space where clients of all ages can explore who they are, embrace change, and nurture their mental health at every stage of life.
Welcome, you found me on your journey. I consider myself a therapist who identifies as unconventional. I can be messy and loud, but my work is to help you be authentically you and stop fitting into the world's boxes. I am open-minded and quirky and like to work with people who have struggled to "fit in".
My journey to mental healthcare
Started a long time ago, as a child and possibly in utero. From a family of caregivers. I have always been a healer and worked at age 16 as a peer mentor and worked my way through my associate's degree in social work, to then taking a break to start a family. I now have my master's and am ready to help others reach their goals on their journey.
It's important for therapists to be, first and foremost, real human beings in relation to clients. I know how to be a therapist. You know how to be you. I try to bring understanding and, when appropriate, humor into my work with people. Therapy is where you can try on different parts of yourself in a non-judgemental environment. What happens in session can reflect what you experience in your everday life. This provides you with perspective to live a more fufilling life. I work remotely, but find that this is not a barrier to real connection.
If you're tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or trapped in unhealthy habits, you're not alone. Most people spend years struggling alone and in silence. I help adults navigate addiction, compulsive behaviors, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach combines compassion, accountability, and practical tools to help you gain insight, break unhealthy patterns, strengthen relationships, and build the life you want.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and substance abuse counselor providing therapy services to adults. I have been practicing therapy for 12 years but have been in the field of social work since 2000. My professional experience includes work in child welfare, treatment foster care, adoption, parenting concerns, substance use, domestic violence, trauma, anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA, and life transitions.
My one personal goal for you is to help you learn how to help yourself. It might sound cheesy, but I just want the best for everyone and sometimes that means stepping outside of your comfort zone and asking for help. I strive to help others learn how to help themselves so that they can learn to trust their gut.

Hi, I'm Laurie, and I WANT to hear what you have to say! Does anyone ever tell you that? Being heard and understood is an essential part of therapy. Therapists have varying skills and knowledge that we bring to the table. Deciding who to reach out to can be overwhelming, so I offer a free phone consult so you can get your questions answered and gain a sense of who I am before committing to therapy. This is important work, which means you get to choose the best fit for you. Having worked as a therapist for almost 20 years now, I consistently receive feedback that I have a warm, calming presence.
I believe everybody has strengths and talents as well as a place to fit in among this world as well as a purpose. However, at times we all need help to find our strength as life challenges get in the way and we get stuck. “What is some wisdom you have gained through your experiences?” is a question I will ask you when you choose to work with me. We will explore this question together, building on your experiences, and you will learn to identify ways to use this wisdom and strength in the future.

Hi, my name is Tishina and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. For the past eight years, I've had the privilege of helping people navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood changes, and the challenges that come with everyday problem solving. I became a therapist because therapy changed my life. It helped me heal, find my voice, and believe in myself and now I'm passionate about offering that same support and hope to the people that I work with.
Therapy doesn’t have to be sitting on a couch while someone asks, “And how does that make you feel?” every five minutes. Life is complicated. Sometimes you’re anxious, overwhelmed, pissed off, exhausted, stuck in your head, dealing with trauma, struggling in a relationship, or just wondering how everyone else seems to have their shit together when you definitely do not. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can actually be yourself. No judgment. No pretending everything is fine. No having to make your problems sound “bad enough” to deserve help. You can show up as you are.
Searching for a therapist is a meaningful step, and you deserve a space where you feel understood, supported, and safe. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW‑C) with seven years of experience, I provide individual therapy for people from all walks of life. My work centers on helping individuals and families navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and the challenges that disrupt daily life. I’m committed to helping you navigate whatever challenges you’re facing.
As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I understand the unique stressors, culture, and resilience that come with military and first‑responder life. I genuinely enjoy working with service members, veterans, and first responders, and I strive to create a space where they feel understood, respected, and supported.
I have more than three decades of personal and school counseling experience to share with my clients. I have worked in both private and Catholic schools. I have been a private therapist for eight years. I am also the proud mother of four adult sons. My life story includes some personal and professional obstacles, and I draw on these experiences to help my clients.
I am especially empathetic to clients with physical challenges, as I cope with a partial hearing loss. This helps me serve clients with physical disabilities in addition to a wide variety of mental health challenges.
I am privileged to serve anyone, but I have found my skills are particularly effective with children, teens, college students, and young adults who are navigating transitions, confidence, motivation or emotional challenges. I humbly believe my compassion and empathy are particularly helpful to this age group.
