I am a licensed professional counselor with over 30 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, youth, adults and families. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, and trauma, through evidence-based, eclectic, person centered and self-empowering approaches. Over the last decade, I have focused primarily with women experiencing issues of stress, loss, anxiety, depression, and life changes.
During our first session, I will start to gain an understanding of what brings you to counseling at this time in your life, what you hope to gain and what goals you aspire to achieve. Together, we will develop a plan to move you in your journey to the place you want to be.
I am able to work with each person as the unique individual they are, developing strategies fitting, natural and meaningful to each person. I utilize a positive, proactive, problem solving, and person-centered approach, implementing cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, integrated care through an empathetic and compassionate perspective.
