The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I teach tools and strategies that help clients manage the thoughts and feelings that keeps them stuck in being afraid, nervous and insecure.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I work with clients to identify and challenge thought patterns or core beliefs that lead to emotional and mental distress. I use structured techniques to help clients adopt empowering thoughts and apply effective coping strategies.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients clarify values and use them to support efforts in taking committed action toward living a more meaningful life. Mindfulness and acceptance help clients acknowledge and embrace difficult thoughts and feelings opposed to avoiding them.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
I work with clients to identify anxiety-provoking situations and practice confronting them while learning how to reframe from engaging unhealthy coping mechanisms. Clients eventually learn they can tolerate what makes them anxious.
