I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has been in the field for approximately 20 years, and 14 of those years licensed. I obtained my Master's of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Framingham State University in Massachusetts in 2005. I have worked in a variety of settings throughout the years, including inpatient, residential, and outpatient agencies. My most recent work is being a Counselor in a local middle school.
I look to be the best possible guide I can be for whatever life stressors are currently going on for you. I work best with clients who are in an adjustment period in their life, have anxiety symptoms, have depression symptoms, or have a history of traumatic experiences. I work with teens, young adults, and adults.
I’m MacKenzie Miller, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) with over five years of experience. I graduated from Merrimack College with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working within community-based agencies funded by the Department of Mental Health and most recently as a crisis clinician.
Outside of work, my hobbies include exercising, coloring, going to the beach, watching tv shows and spending time with family and friends.
I have 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy in multidisciplinary practices essentially as a generalist; the primary focus of my practice is very much on establishing a solid connection with my patients, which I believe creates a supportive and safe sense of relationship with me - essential for change and ongoing definition of goals.
My own personal goal for my patients is giving them a sense of what the solution might look, and feel, like.

I’m an LICSW with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel truly heard and understood. Together, we’ll identify the areas of your life that feel difficult or overwhelming and develop meaningful goals to help you move toward the life you want for yourself.
Hello, I’m Naomi, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a licensed mental health clinician providing therapy for teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck. You may be managing a lot on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside, trying to keep everything together while feeling unsure of what to do next. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. My goal is to create an environment where you can be yourself without feeling pressured to have everything figured out.
My approach is collaborative, flexible, and individualized. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and expressive techniques when helpful. I don’t believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. Instead, we’ll work together to find approaches and strategies that fit your needs, personality, and everyday life.
I am a Counselor who takes a thoughtful, insight-oriented approach to therapy. My style is conversational and reflective, helping clients slow down, look at patterns in their lives, and gain clarity about the forces shaping their thoughts, relationships, and decisions. I believe meaningful change begins with understanding, and I work collaboratively with clients to develop insight, perspective, and practical ways to move forward.

I support clients through the often-unspoken grief of motherhood and life transitions: changes in identity, relationships, expectations, and the version of themselves they thought they would be.
I also have clinical experience supporting clients through end-of-life care, which has shaped my ability to hold space for deep loss, uncertainty, and major life transitions with compassion and presence.
My approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and CBT to help clients better understand their emotions, build regulation skills, respond instead of react, and reconnect with what matters most. Therapy with me is practical, collaborative, and focused on tools you can actually use in real life.

Reaching out for help in the form of therapy is not an easy thing to do as many can attest, but by reading this biography, you are taking the first step in getting help for yourself or a loved one. At times, life offers many struggles and obstacles that can be difficult to overcome alone. Engaging in therapy will provide opportunities to explore and process the thoughts and feelings that prevent you from living your best life. Though the thought of therapy may be intimidating and even nerve-wrecking for some, I believe once a person finds the right therapist, they find a trusting confidant who seeks to understand and problem solve.

I have worked with individuals of varying age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, and personality style addressing a wide range of issues (including but not limited to stress, addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, ADHD, PTSD, grief/loss, codependency, self-esteem, and anger management.)
You are here hoping to find that therapist who stands out to you because you want to find someone who can help you. The search can be overwhelming for some. Most of the profiles of therapists are going to say similar things. Most of which should be standard like brakes on a car.
I cannot promise I'm the right one for you. Here is what I can tell you about my approach. I believe in being practical which means I will not use a lot of psycho-babble or fancy strategies. I have a tendency to be blunt. My wife says I'm the "bluntest politest man" she has ever met. I'm going to be real with you.
I love couples/marriage counseling, and that is my main focus. However, about half of my clients have always been individuals. Some people just need a place to vent. Others need help solving a problem, and most people need a little of both.
I know therapy might be a little intimidating or even scary to some. Try to think of it as a massage for your brain. It's a place where you can say whatever you want guilt-free.
Welcome, I am Feven!
Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the different challenges they face and build coping skills to create more fulfilling and holistic life experiences. From my journey, I can personally attest to the power of support, in its many forms. This support goes beyond clients I service but also to their families and communities. I believe that mental wellness isn’t just individualistic; but includes the ecosystem surrounding the person. My praxis acknowledges and aims to support the village needed by all.
I’m also passionate about the transformative impact of safe and brave spaces for those who often experience exclusion. My career has afforded me opportunities to build trust with LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Refugee communities across the nation. It is a personal privilege to center wellness and holistic care for all as ‘self-care is a radical form of resistance.’

As a therapist, I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as people navigating trauma and chronic PTSD. I work with adults and teenagers, and I recently expanded my practice to include couples. This work is particularly meaningful to me because I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult woman myself. Receiving a late diagnosis can bring tremendous relief and understanding, while also opening the door to grief for the years spent without the support, language, or understanding you deserved. There can be an inherent trauma in being neurodivergent in a world that often asks us to adapt ourselves rather than adapting to us. Many neurodivergent people have histories of masking, shame, rejection, chronic misunderstanding, and feeling like something is fundamentally wrong with them. Therapy can be a space to unpack those experiences and develop a deeper, more compassionate understanding of yourself.
