I am a licensed social worker in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. I have over 15 years of experience working as a clinician. I work well with Individuals who are experiencing distress that is getting in the way of their daily life, as well as those who are struggling with serious mental health concerns. One specialization of my practice is working with first responders who are struggling with stress or trauma related to work and their loved ones. I know it can be hard to take the step to ask for help when things start to feel overwhelming. I am looking forward to talking with you more about how I can provide you with help and support.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

On our first session we will discuss the concerns that you would like to talk about in therapy. You will have the opportunity to share any history you think is important to our work together. We will start to establish therapeutic goals to work on together based on the concerns that are most important to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am humanistic and person centered in my approach to therapy. In addition to this, I like to work on helping to identify solutions and coping skills that are easy to do after the session ends. I don’t ever want therapy to feel like an extra chore or task to learn when someone may be already feeling overwhelmed.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work well with adults, teens, transitional age young adults, couples, and families. I work well with Individuals who are struggling with many concerns ranging from daily stress and relationship concerns to more serious mental illness. One specialization I have is, working with first responders who are affected by work stress and trauma, including police officers and corrections officers and their loved ones. I worked beside first responders for many years so I have an understanding of the unique stress they face in their roles.
