Counseling is a unique process where you can feel safe, be yourself, and explore ways to improve your quality of life. As your therapist, I provide a relaxed and supportive environment where you can share openly and at your own pace. My role is to listen, offer honest and compassionate feedback, and help you develop practical skills to create meaningful and lasting change. Together, we’ll work to reduce stress, build insight, and support your personal growth. I bring a creative, comforting, and nonjudgmental approach to therapy, while remaining objective so we can stay focused on what truly matters to you. I specialize in relationships, couples therapy, and individual counseling—helping clients improve communication, rebuild trust, and navigate challenges with partners, family members, or in the workplace. I also work with individuals struggling with addiction, including substance use and gambling. My priority is to create a safe, empowering space where you feel comfortable being open and engaged. This foundation allows us to get to the root of the presenting issue, explore patterns, and work toward increased self-esteem, deeper connection, and positive transformation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin the intake process. I’ll gather information about your history, explore what’s bringing you to therapy, and work with you to identify both the presenting problem and any underlying issues—which are not always the same. From there, I’ll begin formulating a case understanding and outline a treatment plan that reflects your goals and priorities. It’s also very important to me that you feel welcomed, at ease, and respected in the therapy space. I encourage clients to use the first session as an opportunity to “interview” me as well—to make sure we’re a good fit and that my style feels comfortable and supportive. My goal is to leave you feeling heard, motivated, and hopeful, with a clear sense of direction moving forward. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is using a solution-focused approach to help clients set meaningful goals and make practical changes in the present to better navigate life’s challenges. I’m a strong listener and an effective problem-solver, and I work to identify each client’s strengths so they can grow and move forward with confidence. I also bring valuable insight from years of working with a wide range of individuals and couples, which allows me to draw on real-world experience to offer thoughtful guidance tailored to each unique situation.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work best with individuals and couples who are ready to explore their challenges honestly and are open to creating positive change. This includes people navigating relationship issues, communication breakdowns, or emotional disconnection—whether you're in a long-term partnership or just trying to make sense of things. I also support clients facing addiction, including substance use and porn addiction, and those who may feel isolated or overwhelmed by personal struggles they’ve kept to themselves. Many of my clients come to therapy simply wanting someone to talk to—without judgment—about stress, identity, intimacy, or life transitions. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I aim to create a safe space where clients feel truly heard, supported, and challenged to grow

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have incorporated Solution-Focused Therapy into my practice for several years, finding it especially effective for clients seeking clarity and forward momentum. This approach aligns with my therapeutic style, emphasizing talk therapy, sharing relevant past experiences, and helping clients externalize their challenges while focusing on achievable goals. I use it to support clients in identifying their strengths and envisioning practical steps toward meaningful change.
