My name is Bobby Figueroa, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia with five years of experience in the mental health and addiction field. I believe therapy works best when it is a partnership. You are the expert on your life—your experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals. My role is to serve as a guide, helping you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may be holding you back, and develop the tools needed to become the person you desire to be. My approach focuses on helping you understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how those patterns influence your relationships, decisions, and everyday life. Together, we will identify what is working, explore areas where you would like to see change, and develop practical strategies that support your personal growth. I strive to create a space where you can be yourself, speak openly, and work through challenges without judgment. Therapy is not about me telling you who you should be or what you should do. It is about us working together to help you gain clarity, build confidence, and make meaningful changes that align with the life you want to live. Therapy is teamwork. You bring your experiences and goals, I bring guidance and support, and together we work toward the change you want to see. Welcome! My name is Tameka and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have 17+ years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential, partial care, outpatient, and in-home. It is my belief that you have everything you need within you to live your best life and be your best self, however, unhealed wounds can slow that timeline of seeing that manifest. It is my goal to guide, educate, support, and empower my clients on their way to healing. I find great joy when my clients have that light bulb moment when they realize they in fact can be the captain of their healing/journey. I also understand that not everyone is of the mindset that they need healing and may require someone to help them build their personal road map of goals, I can also assist with that and would say I would serve in more of a coaching role for you. Lastly, picking the right therapist can be scary, I would like to share that I find the therapeutic alliance as a collaboration of communication, honesty, and mutual respect. If you feel I am a good fit for you, I would love to walk alongside you as you explore your inner challenges and develop long-term solutions to those challenges.

My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that trust is the most vital component of this shared journey. A safe, non-judgmental environment is offered where you can openly explore feelings, thoughts, and reactions to life's events. It is important that you feel comfortable and supported. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solution-Focused Therapy to achieve results quickly.

If you’ve been carrying more than you let others see, trying to “push through,” you’re not alone. Initially many of my clients are carrying a heavy load in secret, attempting to force themselves through burdening exhaustion every single day. They come to me feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to even begin. You may feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or weighed down by emotions that are hard to name or understand. In therapy with me, we’ll gently begin to make sense of what you’ve been holding. We will navigate together in order to transform your heaviest burdens into a map for your future. We will identify the beliefs and patterns that keep you feeling stuck and begin building new ones that feel more empoweing. As a therapist specializing in anxiety, grief, and trauma, I will help you slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I’m a proud, multi-hyphenated Black woman and one of my deepest joy's is walking alongside people as they grow their self-love, self-worth, and capacity to live authentically. I work with clients to unabashedly honor themselves, their stories, and their desires for the future. In our work together, I’m committed to decolonizing therapy—honoring the lived realities of people of color, using tools and language that affirm your identity, and creating a space where all parts of you are welcome as you grow into more of yourself.

Are you stressed and overwhelmed by your health, your day-to-day life, or your relationships? As a Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, as well as being a two-time breast cancer survivor and a caretaker for my elderly parents, I can help you to navigate health issues and life stresses more effectively. Life can be difficult for each of us at some point in time, in ways unique to our own circumstances. My goal is to help people through the tough chapters so that they move into better chapters with additional tools to handle challenges and stresses. I don't view people as being broken or needing fixing. We all need someone with whom to sort things through at times, someone who isn't part of our day-to-day mix. In therapy, clients develop more effective expectations by redefining their stresses and challenges, reduce emotional upset and distress by looking at their issues from a new angle, and feel empowered by trying new approaches to effective problem-solving. I would be pleased to walk this journey with you, to reduce stress and find a more satisfying approach to life. Available appointments are those set aside specifically for intakes. I see clients through Grow Therapy on Monday and Tuesday. I cannot do letters, FMLA forms or provide disability opinions for clients who have not already been involved in therapy with me for at least several months. While I really enjoy working with individuals aged 65 and older, due to Medicare regulations, I cannot see traditional Medicare clients for self-pay. I can see those seniors with Medicare Replacement plans which are accepted by Grow Therapy. I only work with individuals, and do not do marital or family therapy.

Hi, I’m Ashley Smith, and I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, OCD, relationship or intimacy concerns, past trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where healing and growth can happen. One of my favorite moments as a therapist is when something finally “clicks” for a client — that moment when they begin to understand why they think, feel, or react the way they do. Even more rewarding is watching them learn how to break free from patterns that have been holding them back and begin creating the life they want. There is nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing people discover their own strength and realize lasting change is possible.

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when past experiences, anxiety, or self-doubt make it hard to move forward. As a warm and grounding therapist (who isn’t afraid to add a little humor when it helps), I create a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. You just need to show up as you are. I help adults, teens, couples, BIPOC clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those navigating spiritual or religious trauma reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and build healthier patterns.

Do you feel like you're running at full capacity with no room left to breathe? On the surface, you have it all together: the high-performing professional, the dependable parent, the supportive partner. Underneath, it's different. Anxiety that won't quiet. Depression creeping in. Burnout from roles that never let you clock out. Often it's all of them at once, tangled together until they blur. I bring an engineer's mindset to therapy. My background in Mechanical Engineering shaped how I see problems, not as isolated issues but as complex systems needing recalibration. Most high-achievers I work with are tired of surface-level talk therapy; they want results. Together, we analyze what's actually breaking down, whether it's depression, anxiety, career burnout, or family dynamics. We build a concrete evidence-based plan using tools such as DBT and EMDR to process trauma and tackle performance issues. For over a decade, I've guided clients through major life transitions, for example career pivots, new parenthood, and loss, toward lives rooted in purpose and sustainable well-being.
