New to Grow
My name is Elizabeth Logan and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I provide psychotherapy pulling from over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in various settings from private practice to inpatient residential settings with adults and adolescents. In my practice I use a trauma-informed model of care, I utilize evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based interventions to support emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term growth. I work collaboratively with clients to process difficult life experiences, develop healthier patterns, and move forward with greater confidence, stability, and self-understanding.
Your first counseling session is about getting to know you, making sure you feel comfortable and setting the foundation for our work together. We'll review confidentiality, talk about what brings you in, explore your goals, and outline next steps together.
Originally from Alaska, I have worked with diverse populations and understand the importance of providing individualized, culturally aware care. My clinical niche includes working with trauma, generational trauma, cultural diversity, stress-related concerns, and life transitions. I also work with high-functioning professionals navigating chronic stress, burnout, and the emotional demands that can come with balancing career, relationships, and personal growth.
My ideal client is someone looking to gain a better understanding of themselves and what they’re experiencing, especially if they’ve been dealing with ongoing mental health challenges without clear answers. They may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to manage their emotions, relationships, or daily stressors. I enjoy working with individuals who are open to exploring their patterns, building insight, and learning practical tools to improve their day-to-day functioning.
