I have been working with clients for over 20 years , using a collaborative approach between client and therapist. I will help clients reframe their challenges , create and explore coping skills that empower change and growth. Sessions will involve processing with the client on identifying, evaluating and replacing negative thoughts, that limits them from being the best version of themselves.
Motivational Interviewing helps to support clients in resolving ambivalent and insecure feelings, so they can be motivated toward behavioral changes. It respects the client's freedom to choose , express their own thoughts and desires, rather than being told. Therapist helps to build confidence, self-esteem and clients strengths.
I believe that each person has the ability to grow, heal, and make meaningful changes when provided with the right support and understanding. Through empathy, active listening, genuineness, and collaboration, I work alongside clients to better understand their experiences, identify their strengths, and develop goals that are meaningful to them. My role is not to judge or tell clients what they should do, but to support them as they explore their thoughts, feelings, and choices and move toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth.
