(she/her)
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides boutique-style therapy for professional women who are ready for real change. I work well with high-functioning women who may appear strong and capable on the outside, but internally feel overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. My approach is supportive, honest, structured, and intentional. Therapy with me is not passive venting only. I help clients identify what is keeping them stuck, strengthen emotional awareness, improve boundaries, reduce overthinking, and create practical shifts that support lasting growth. Clients often come to me when they are ready to stop simply coping and begin moving with more clarity, confidence, emotional balance, and purpose. My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches and guided by compassion, accountability, collaboration, and respect.
In our first session, I focus on understanding you as a whole person, not just the symptoms or stressors that brought you to therapy. We will talk about what is currently feeling heavy, what patterns you have been noticing, and what you are hoping will feel different through our work together. I may ask about your background, relationships, family dynamics, emotional history, work or life stressors, and past experiences with therapy. This helps me understand the context that shaped you and the patterns that may be impacting how you think, feel, cope, and connect with others. My goal is to create a space that feels emotionally safe, respectful, and purposeful. You do not have to share everything at once. The first session is paced with care while also giving us a clear starting point for focused, meaningful work.
My greatest strength is helping high-functioning women move beyond simply coping and begin creating real emotional change. I balance warmth and empathy with structure, honesty, and clarity, so clients feel supported while also being challenged to look deeper at the patterns keeping them stuck. Clients often appreciate that my style is direct but compassionate. I help clients slow down, identify emotional triggers, reduce overthinking, strengthen boundaries, and build practical tools they can actually use outside of session. My approach is intentional, collaborative, and evidence-based. I focus on both insight and action, helping clients gain clarity, improve emotional balance, and create sustainable growth that aligns with the life they truly want.
I am best positioned to work with professional women navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, burnout, overthinking, self-esteem concerns, and relationship patterns that no longer serve them. Many of my clients appear high functioning on the outside while internally feeling exhausted, stuck, disconnected, or emotionally stretched thin. They are often ready for intentional therapy that supports clarity, emotional balance, healthier boundaries, confidence, and meaningful personal growth.
Other specialties
I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility and reduce the hold that anxiety, overthinking, self-criticism, and emotional overwhelm can have on daily life. Rather than focusing on avoiding discomfort, I help clients build a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions while identifying values-aligned actions that support meaningful change. ACT is often integrated with CBT and mindfulness-based strategies within my practice.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional triggers, and behavioral cycles that contribute to anxiety, stress, low self-worth, and emotional exhaustion. My approach to CBT is practical, insight-oriented, and focused on helping clients develop healthier coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, boundaries, and more balanced ways of thinking and responding.
Attachment-based
I use Attachment-Based Therapy to help clients understand how early relational experiences and attachment patterns may influence emotional responses, self-worth, boundaries, and adult relationships. I support clients in increasing emotional awareness, recognizing recurring interpersonal patterns, and developing healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based approaches to help clients increase emotional awareness, reduce overwhelm, and become more present in their daily lives. Many of the clients I work with experience anxiety, overthinking, stress, and difficulty slowing down. Mindfulness techniques help clients recognize emotional and physical responses more clearly and respond to stress with greater intention rather than reactivity. I integrate mindfulness practices with evidence-based therapy approaches to support emotional regulation, grounding, self-awareness, and overall balance.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build practical solutions for current challenges. This approach focuses on helping clients recognize what is already working, increase confidence in their ability to create change, and take manageable, realistic steps forward. In my practice, SFBT is often integrated with CBT and insight-oriented approaches to support both immediate progress and long-term emotional growth.
