My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling is appropriate for partners experiencing various relationship difficulties including frequent arguing, communication breakdowns, infidelity recovery, sexual problems, parenting disagreements, financial conflicts, or simply feeling disconnected from each other.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT suggests that psychological problems arise from distorted or unhelpful ways of thinking about ourselves, others, and the world. The therapeutic process typically involves several key components. I help clients identify negative thought patterns and all-or-nothing thinking.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This treatment is “brief” not because it’s rushed, but because it efficiently targets specific, achievable goals. This method is used to provide compliments and affirmations are used strategically to highlight client’s strength. Rather than generic praise, these are specific observations about what the client is already doing well.
