Have you been carrying more than you let other people see?
Maybe anxiety has been running the show, and you can’t seem to quiet your mind or concentrate. Maybe a relationship has left you feeling confused or stuck. Or maybe you’re carrying so much that you don’t even know where to start. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, grief, self-esteem, and personal growth. Many of the people I work with feel stretched thin, pulled in multiple directions, and under constant pressure. Over time, that pressure can affect how they think, feel, and respond to the people around them.
Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and identify practical steps that move you toward the life you want. My approach is warm, collaborative, and action-oriented. I believe therapy should provide insight, but it should also equip you with skills you can use long after our work together ends.
At times everyone struggles and feels overwhelmed by challenging events (past or present), confusing feelings, and painful thoughts. It is helpful to have a confidential, objective, and experienced guide to sort through all this. I understand your cares and struggles. Those things that you feel as if you lost in childhood, teen years and even now can be replaced. You can see all things differently, and live the rest of your life with a different perspective, in newness loving yourself like you have never loved yourself before. You are worth it, you deserve it. This is a shared journey toward healing and creating your best life.

I have deep compassion for the human condition and it fuels my desire to help. Helping others let go of what interferes with life satisfaction, helping their authentic self thrive and live their best life is rewarding. By the grace of our creator I have been provided with life and experience to be able to offer my services. Do you want to build a strong foundation for your current or future relationship? Have you grown tired of being treated like a problem and not a person? I primarily take a narrative approach to counseling. Narrative therapy begins with the premise that you are not the problem; the problem is the problem. The way we see ourselves can be defined by the language that we use. My path to this work was not a straight line. It was shaped by lived experience, personal healing, and a deep calling to create the kind of therapeutic space I once needed myself. I understand what it means to appear capable and composed on the outside while quietly carrying more than anyone around you knows. That understanding is not just clinical for me ,it is personal, and it informs every room I create for my clients.
I am relational, warm, and direct. I believe in going beneath the surface , not to excavate pain for its own sake, but because real healing lives in the places we haven't yet had the courage or the safety to explore. I draw on a range of evidence-informed approaches, including CBT, ACT, EFT, and somatic therapy, always tailoring my work to the whole person in front of me.
My Caribbean roots, my faith, and my commitment to equity shape both who I am and how I practice. I am especially passionate about serving communities where the stigma around mental health has too often stood between people and the support they deserve.
If you've been waiting for a sign that it's finally your turn ,this is it.
