New to Grow
Hi there. My name is Antionette, and I am a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping clients navigate challenging mental health concerns. I am passionate about supporting people as they gain insight, develop new skills, and reclaim a sense of control in their lives. With years of experience as a therapist, I have witnessed clients make meaningful progress—sometimes within just a few weeks—as they engage in the therapeutic process. It is truly an honor to walk alongside individuals as they heal, grow, and step into their strength.
Our first session together will involve a thorough assessment of your needs and an opportunity for me to share how I can best support you. From there, we work collaboratively to create a treatment plan based on your individual goals for therapy. I encourage clients to schedule appointments at least twice a month to ensure that new coping skills are learned, practiced, and integrated for improved well-being and overall quality of life.
My greatest strength as a therapist is my genuine passion for my clients and the work I do to help them reach success. My gentle approach and positive, supportive presence encourage clients to open up, engage fully in evidence-based interventions, and consider new perspectives and suggestions. This collaborative process empowers clients to create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
I work with adults (18+) and couples who are interested in exploring ways to improve their lives. I especially enjoy supporting clients who are curious about personal growth and are ready to start by focusing on their mental health and well-being. Together, we explore strategies to enhance your emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change.
I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how unresolved trauma influences the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we explore how past and present experiences shape the way they view themselves, others, and the world. By identifying patterns that may have once been protective but are no longer helpful, clients can develop clarity, self-compassion, and practical tools for change. My approach is collaborative and supportive, rooted in the belief that insight and understanding create a strong foundation for healing and growth.
I approach couples counseling with a warm, nonjudgmental, and unbiased presence, ensuring that each partner feels heard, seen, and supported. I create a safe and collaborative environment where both individuals can express their needs, explore patterns of communication, and better understand the dynamics that shape their relationship. Together, we work to strengthen emotional connection, improve communication, and rebuild trust. My goal is to help couples develop healthier ways of relating so they can navigate challenges with compassion, curiosity, and mutual respect.
