Counseling is more than a career choice for me. It’s my response to what I believe is a divine calling that I’m honored to answer! Professionally I hold Master’s degrees in Education and Clinical Mental Health, a National Board Certification in Counseling and a Professional Counselor license. My credentials qualify me in this work but it’s my passion for people, my fascination with human behavior and conviction about humans’ birthright to sustainable joy that drives me. I take a holistic, integrative approach to counseling, exploring the needs of the whole person - mind, body and spirit. I'll encourage you to embrace the idea that we're all intrinsically whole and have power in all circumstances that life and choices confront us with. Despite how bleak things may seem, you'll be reminded you have what it takes to not only endure but prevail! Sometimes we just need a little help discovering growth and meaning amid the noise of our anxieties, fears and regrets.

Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Valdosta State University. I was born and raised in Nebraska but have made Georgia my home, and I truly love it here. I became a therapist because I genuinely care about people and believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, meaningful support. I know that reaching out for help is not always easy, and I want you to know that taking that step says a lot about your strength and your commitment to yourself. My goal is to make sure that from the moment you connect with me, you feel welcome, heard, and comfortable. I am an animal lover through and through, and that love has found a natural home in my clinical practice. I incorporate pet therapy into my work with clients, and I have seen firsthand the incredible impact that a furry friend can have on even the most difficult days. Whether it helps break the ice, ease anxiety, or simply bring a moment of joy into a hard season, it is one of my favorite tools to offer. Outside of my passion for animals, I am deeply committed to doing work that matters. I show up for my clients with honesty, warmth, and a whole lot of heart. I believe in meeting people where they are, walking alongside them through the hard stuff, and celebrating the wins along the way — big and small. If you are looking for a therapist who will be real with you, root for you, and work hard alongside you, I would love to connect. I can't wait to meet you.

Tara Sanders is a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and has been in the mental health field for 20 + yrs. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Clark Atlanta University and earned her Master’s of Science degree from Abilene Christian University. She has a wide range of career experience that allows her to adapt to the varied needs of her clients. Her diverse experience was derived from working in an all-male maximum-security prison, her position as a school counselor to provide counseling services to children in need of temporary, situational, and/or ongoing emotional challenges, her years acting as a mobile crisis assessor, and her role as supervisor for a state-wide crisis hotline. Additionally, she worked as a Military Family Life Counselor for 10 years overseas in Europe (German and Italy) and stateside. Tara believes that individuals who are entering counseling should feel comfortable and safe which is why she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach that highlights channeling negative thoughts into positive ones. She believes that stressors in one’s life can feel unmanageable, but she helps her clients to maximize their resiliency and come to view the challenge as a bump in the road --a bump that can be moved past into a successful healthier path. Her goal is for all her patients to become open to gaining new perspectives and be willing to explore family dynamics and upbringings that have developed them into the persons they are today. Tara works with her clients to assist them with changing any self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. She truly believes that caring for yourself and your relationships are the most important task that you will ever have.

Welcome! My name is Tameka and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have 17+ years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential, partial care, outpatient, and in-home. It is my belief that you have everything you need within you to live your best life and be your best self, however, unhealed wounds can slow that timeline of seeing that manifest. It is my goal to guide, educate, support, and empower my clients on their way to healing. I find great joy when my clients have that light bulb moment when they realize they in fact can be the captain of their healing/journey. I also understand that not everyone is of the mindset that they need healing and may require someone to help them build their personal road map of goals, I can also assist with that and would say I would serve in more of a coaching role for you. Lastly, picking the right therapist can be scary, I would like to share that I find the therapeutic alliance as a collaboration of communication, honesty, and mutual respect. If you feel I am a good fit for you, I would love to walk alongside you as you explore your inner challenges and develop long-term solutions to those challenges.

I discovered a strong calling to support women navigating self-doubt, perfectionism, overthinking, and the weight of constantly putting others’ needs before their own. If you see yourself in this, you are not alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you work toward the goals that matter most to you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from Orlando, Florida, now proudly serving clients in Georgia and Florida. We all face challenges—some big, some small—that can deeply impact our lives. These struggles can feel overwhelming, draining our mind, body, and spirit. I understand this personally, having walked through my own experiences with depression and anxiety. With the support of God, professionals, and family, I was able to grow stronger through those difficult times. My journey led me from Nursing into the field of Counseling, where I now feel called to help others find hope, healing, and strength in the midst of their own challenges.

Recovery is not just about substances. It is about reclaiming yourself. I believe we are all recovering from something, whether that is trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief, unhealthy relationships, substance use, or years of surviving instead of truly living. Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about reconnecting with the version of yourself that has been buried beneath life's experiences. I work with millennials who are ready to better understand themselves, break unhealthy generational patterns, and create lasting change. Together, we will explore what is keeping you stuck while building practical skills that help you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and intention. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I create a space where you feel safe enough to be vulnerable while also feeling supported enough to grow. I believe therapy should be compassionate, practical, and empowering. You can expect me to listen with empathy while gently challenging the beliefs and behaviors that may no longer be serving you. Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship struggles, trauma, anxiety, substance use, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you do not have to face it alone. My goal is to help you not only feel better but also build a life that feels authentic, balanced, and meaningful. Together, we will focus on helping you move beyond survival and toward lasting recovery and healing.

If you’ve been carrying more than you let others see, trying to “push through,” you’re not alone. Initially many of my clients are carrying a heavy load in secret, attempting to force themselves through burdening exhaustion every single day. They come to me feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to even begin. You may feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, or weighed down by emotions that are hard to name or understand. In therapy with me, we’ll gently begin to make sense of what you’ve been holding. We will navigate together in order to transform your heaviest burdens into a map for your future. We will identify the beliefs and patterns that keep you feeling stuck and begin building new ones that feel more empoweing. As a therapist specializing in anxiety, grief, and trauma, I will help you slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I’m Triana, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who believes that healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, while also being intentional about helping clients understand the deeper patterns influencing their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviors. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship and family concerns, life transitions, and the challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. As an MFT, I look beyond the individual and consider the relationships, family dynamics, experiences, and environments that have helped shape who you are today. Are you stressed and overwhelmed by your health, your day-to-day life, or your relationships? As a Psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, as well as being a two-time breast cancer survivor and a caretaker for my elderly parents, I can help you to navigate health issues and life stresses more effectively. Life can be difficult for each of us at some point in time, in ways unique to our own circumstances. My goal is to help people through the tough chapters so that they move into better chapters with additional tools to handle challenges and stresses. I don't view people as being broken or needing fixing. We all need someone with whom to sort things through at times, someone who isn't part of our day-to-day mix. In therapy, clients develop more effective expectations by redefining their stresses and challenges, reduce emotional upset and distress by looking at their issues from a new angle, and feel empowered by trying new approaches to effective problem-solving. I would be pleased to walk this journey with you, to reduce stress and find a more satisfying approach to life. Available appointments are those set aside specifically for intakes. I see clients through Grow Therapy on Monday and Tuesday. I cannot do letters, FMLA forms or provide disability opinions for clients who have not already been involved in therapy with me for at least several months. While I really enjoy working with individuals aged 65 and older, due to Medicare regulations, I cannot see traditional Medicare clients for self-pay. I can see those seniors with Medicare Replacement plans which are accepted by Grow Therapy. I only work with individuals, and do not do marital or family therapy.

Life can be unpredictable. During tough times, having a therapist who looks at the whole picture can make a real difference. I have spent years helping people work through challenges like communication issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, conflicts with others, and grief. Good therapy looks at how your thoughts, feelings, body, and sense of purpose all connect. My approach focuses on the whole person. I work alongside clients to find healthier ways forward and create meaningful change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. I hold two master's degrees from Mercer University and a doctorate from Emory University, and I have been practicing for 19 years. I support adults facing life changes, relationship issues, grief, and personal growth as they look for a better path.
