Welcome! Have you decided to take this next step on your journey? That is bold and brave of you, and you don’t have to do it alone! I am passionate about finding ways to work together in a welcoming and safe environment. I want to help you create the most authentic and actualized “you”. Let’s explore challenges you are facing, and forge a path towards creating the changes that you envision. Change can be scary at times, and yet feeling stagnant can often mimic a hostage situation; where we feel trapped in a negative mindset. As humans, we all have the capacity to evolve, and I want you to be convicted in your ability to achieve that. I have years of experience working with adults, young adults, (and other age groups) of diverse backgrounds. I look forward to connecting with anyone that is committed to their process. I also enjoy working with individuals from LGBTQIA+, Immigrant & LatinX (hablo Espanol perfectamente bien!) communities & adults with ADHD.

As a Licensed Psychotherapist in Florida, Georgia, and New Hampshire, I am dedicated to fostering healing and personal growth through an integrative approach to mental health. My practice is built on the belief that true healing involves the mind, body, and spirit, and this conviction led me to embrace the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method as a powerful tool in my therapeutic work. With extensive training in trauma-informed care, I have witnessed the profound impact that somatic practices can have on emotional and psychological healing. The Trauma Conscious Yoga Method not only complements traditional psychotherapy but also enhances my clients' ability to process trauma at a deeper level. By merging mindfulness-based yoga techniques with evidence-based therapeutic practices, I create a safe space where individuals can explore their feelings, release tension, and cultivate resilience. My approach is tailored to meet each client's unique needs, blending talk therapy with mindful movement and breathwork. This experiential method empowers clients to reconnect with their bodies, develop greater self-awareness, and foster a sense of grounding and stability. I am passionate about guiding individuals on their journeys toward healing, helping them reclaim their stories and find peace in their bodies. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic illness, life stressors, or the lasting effects of trauma, my goal is to empower you to reclaim your narratives and move toward a place of balance and inner peace. I am here to support you in discovering the strength and tools you possess within. Together, we can embark on a transformative path toward wellness and self-empowerment.

Sonya Coy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a and has been providing therapy for 19 years. She uses a technique called Rapid Resolution Therapy which is a technique that is used to help clients resolve challenges they are facing rapidly. Some clients have had challenges resolved in one session. Others have seen amazing results in 1 to 6 sessions. This process is painless, which helps the client eliminate the emotional pain without reliving the traumatic or stressful event by telling the therapist over and over again. Clients are able to eliminate negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors which bring peace to the soul. Sonya does not work with: grief, LGBT, abusive relationships, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. Sonya is committed to helping facilitate change and growth in her clients and works diligently to truly understand their needs. She specializes in working with adult clients who struggle with anxiety and who are stuck because of a trauma in their lives. Sonya understands that one therapy technique will not work for everyone and that she must adapt to her client and the way they learn and take in information. She has appeared as a guest therapist on Praise 102.5FM, Love 860AM, blog radio on Women Warriors and Business Leaders of Today. Sonya provides individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents and adults. She specializes in working with adults who have experienced traumatic events as well as those having difficulties with: depression, anxiety, divorce, anger, sexual abuse, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and stress management. My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well. I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia. I am opening up limited appointment times for virtual counseling as of mid May 2024.

Our approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family-based interventions, and individual counseling to address a range of concerns—including anxiety, stress, relational issues, and behavioral challenges. Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, family conflict, or mandated treatment, we offer a professional, supportive space where growth and healing can take place. For those interested in in-person sessions, these are available by appointment only. Before meeting in person, we first conduct an initial assessment to understand your needs and develop a tailored treatment plan—ensuring your time with us is purposeful and productive. To make therapy more accessible, we’ve partnered with Grow Therapy, a trusted platform that manages insurance billing and referrals. While The Listening Room LLC is independently owned and operated, Grow Therapy helps streamline access to care by handling the administrative side—so we can focus on delivering quality mental health services and truly listening to you.

Please note that I am only accepting in-person clients at this time. If you need video sessions, I am not a good fit for you. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) working in Lawrenceville, GA. I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, and am completing a PhD in Counselor Supervision and Education at Walden University. I am in my eighth year of clinical practice; I work primarily with individuals looking to deal with anxiety and depression (as do most therapists) but put a lot of emphasis on helping clients find peace through identifying one's values, goals, and how the way they're (not) living lines up with those. I also work with couples struggling with interpersonal conflict.

Hello! My name is Jessica Hallman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Many of us go throughout life having to be different versions of ourselves, whether that’s being different versions at work, with friends or with family. We get into this mode where we compartmentalize, hide ourselves and our experiences for various reasons which can include shame, pain, anxiety, anger, or fear of not being accepted. This often leaves us feeling lost, tired, unfulfilled, or unhappy. Whether you are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, problems with relationships, or a general sense of disconnectedness, I will work alongside you to promote inner healing, self discovery, and acceptance while allowing you to feel fully seen. I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, supportive, and non-judgmental where you can gently put down the “mask” and bring your whole self. I believe in having an individualized approach to meeting your needs. With the use of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy, I will support you in gaining strength and finding joy. My belief is that we are each uniquely the captains of our own lives and at times, just need a new or different perspective on how to navigate our experiences. Let’s partner together, with you leading the way at your own pace (mask off), and begin the process of restoring your inner peace.

Have others said you need to relax or stop worrying? Are you overwhelmed by constant what ifs? Do you feel stressed or restless all the time, have difficulty relaxing or don't know how to feel more grounded? Anxiety and trauma can rob you of life's greatest joys and keep you stuck in indecision. You don't have to suffer alone. You are not broken and you are capable of change. Family systems, culture and stigma prevent people who need help from getting help. I help people tackle their anxiety with confidence, reducing doubt, fear and indecision in their lives. If you struggle with anxiety or depression including social anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, excessive worrying, irritability related to parenting, employment or relationships - I'm here to help you achieve a sense of steady calm to manage all that life throws at you. My clients often struggle with crippling self-defeating thoughts that create a vicious cycle of isolation, loneliness, stress and feeling overwhelmed. I can help break that cycle and empower you to develop a new path forward to achieve what you have not wanted to face alone. When you schedule with me, I may reach out by phone to complete a brief screening to make sure I can meet your needs and send you the needed paperwork. Please know I currently work weekdays and do not have evening or weekend availability. I do not specialize or work with couples or children. I look forward to talking to you!

I am a Christian and Afro-Caribbean mom and forever learner. Psychology and healing deeply excite me. I dipped my toe into psychiatry for the first time as a high school student and am still furthering my education in clinical psychology today. I know there is a greater capacity for healing available to individuals who have always looked inward, fist-fought generational patterns, and still feel stuck in a world that says they need 15 more tasks completed by yesterday. I work to be a safe resting place for people who have moved from therapist to therapist, searching for someone who will truly see them for who they are rather than who the world has tried to mold them into. I desire to fill the Keturah-sized space in that wellness gap. I enjoy working side-by-side with clients to explore areas of possibility, rest, healing, and growth, and then provide the tools to make these things possible.
