My name is Bill Massey and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing in west central Georgia and east central Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia's MSW program in 1993 and became an LCSW in 1996. I have worked in home health and hospice for most of my career with a strong emphasis on geriatrics and dementia care. I have experience in inpatient psychiatric settings and residential services as well. I am looking to fill a niche that I have seen wanting attention for some time. For many years I have seen elders and their families in their homes but had to refer out any counseling other than crisis intervention to outpatient therapists. The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. With the help of Grow Therapy, I intend to offer my services of counseling and case management to people in the comfort of their own homes. I will become a mobile mental health provider to serve a population that has gone largely underserved for all too long. My coverage area for in-home therapy will be Lee, Russell, and Chambers counties in Alabama as well as Muscogee, Chattahoochee, and Harris Counties in Georgia. My name is Michael and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor in Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. As a psychotherapist, my vocation is supporting individuals, working together on your journey toward self-discovery, healing, and learning to thrive from the comfort and convenience of your home or office, and when it is most convenient for you. My work commonly addresses individuals experiencing difficulties in life due to problems stemming from difficulties early in life, anxiety, depression, major life changes, academic challenges (undergrad, graduate, post-graduate studies), the discomfort of feelings that go along with hypervigilance, procrastination, and perfectionism. Sometimes, we need help from someone new, experienced with developing collaborative relationships to find strengths we take for granted, and to embrace that we can be the person we’re meant to be. I am a caring and compassionate clinical social worker with 20 + years of experience serving children, adolescents, and adults. When people experience significant life stressors or trauma, their lives often begin to unravel, and they find it difficult to function. My goal is to equip clients with tools to optimize level of functioning and enhance their quality of life.

I am a Christian counselor and I offer a faith-based approach to healing. I believe marriages are worth saving and healing from self-destructive behaviors is possible. I offer a safe place of healing for survivors of sexual abuse and trauma. I help couples work through rough patches and rekindle their love for one another. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the State of Georgia and a U.S. Army Veteran. I have over 10 years of experience working with active-duty military service members and their families. Through the counseling relationship, I come alongside individuals and couples on their healing journey. I believe healing and change are possible.
