Welcome, I’m Nicole. On the surface, your life may appear put together, yet inside you still feel stuck and unseen. I help adults uncover and heal the hidden impact of past trauma, break free from painful cycles, and build healthier, more meaningful connections. My goal is lasting change, helping you move from coping to thriving with peace, resilience, and confidence.
Hi, I’m Aquanatte Jackson, LCSW, and I truly believe that healing starts with compassion — for yourself, for others, and for the journey you’re on. I’ve spent more than 15 years helping people find peace, clarity, and strength in the middle of life’s hardest moments.
I work with individuals who are navigating anxiety, major life transitions, and relationship challenges — including couples who are trying to rebuild connection and communication. My goal is to create a space that feels real, safe, and judgment-free — where you can show up as you are, without pressure or pretense.
My approach blends compassion-focused care with evidence-based methods that help you uncover what’s really driving your emotions and patterns — not just manage the surface stuff. I want you to leave each session feeling lighter, more grounded, and more in control of your story.
Whether you’re adjusting to change, learning to manage anxiety, or trying to reconnect in your relationship, I’m here to help you move toward healing and growth — one step at a time.
Because at the end of the day, my philosophy is simple: together we heal, together we thrive.
I’m a therapist who helps you remember who you are beneath the self-doubt, survival patterns, and old stories. My approach is compassionate, intuitive, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we reconnect with the parts of ourselves we’ve had to hide or silence—especially the inner child. I work at the intersection of self-worth, spirituality, and soul-aligned growth, supporting clients in finding clarity, confidence, and deeper meaning.
I specialize in working with those who feel like they’ve spent a lifetime holding it all together while feeling unseen or disconnected on the inside. Many of my clients are navigating transitions—whether it’s stepping into adulthood, breaking generational cycles, leaving behind people-pleasing, or exploring who they are beyond roles and expectations. If you’ve ever felt like you're constantly performing, second-guessing yourself, or longing to feel safe in your truth, you’re not alone.
In our work together, I draw from evidence-based therapies like Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, and somatic practices, while also incorporating space for spiritual exploration, ancestral healing, and intuitive insight. I honor each client’s cultural, emotional, and energetic experiences and believe in co-creating a space where all parts of you are welcome.
This is more than just symptom management—it’s about coming home to yourself. I’m here to walk with you as you reclaim your voice, reconnect with your purpose, and live more fully in alignment with who you truly are—mind, body, and spirit.

Hi. I'm Marquita and I've been a social worker for 15 years and counting. I strive to help my clients navigate this challenging journey we know as life. Sometimes on this journey, we experience things such as anxiety, depression, life changes, set backs, and other bumps in the road, but what I've learned is that we can almost always navigate through or around them and keep on going.
I use some conventional as well as unconventional techniques to work with my clients. I like to start where you are and not where I think you should be.
We will use a mixture of cognitive behavioral, behavioral, mindfulness, and many other techniques to help us solve problems that we identify. I say "we", because we will do this together, but I allow you to drive. That just means I trust that you know yourself better than I do, but I will strive to help you find out just how strong you are and empower you to thrive in your life.
We can do this together!
Hi, I am a compassionate Counselor with knowledge and experience necessary to help you unpack pain, heal and become healthy. Are you stressed and overwhelmed by your health, your day-to-day life, or your relationships? As a Psychologist with more than 29 years of experience, as well as being a two-time breast cancer survivor and a caretaker for my elderly parents, I can help you to navigate health issues and life stresses more effectively.
Life can be difficult for each of us at some point in time, in ways unique to our own circumstances. My goal is to help people through the tough chapters so that they move into better chapters with additional tools to handle challenges and stresses. I don't view people as being broken or needing fixing. We all need someone with whom to sort things through at times, someone who isn't part of our day-to-day mix.
In therapy, clients develop more effective expectations by redefining their stresses and challenges, reduce emotional upset and distress by looking at their issues from a new angle, and feel empowered by trying new approaches to effective problem-solving. I would be pleased to walk this journey with you, to reduce stress and find a more satisfying approach to life.

If you are experiencing difficulty with troubling behaviors, relationships, or conflict, I would like to support you in growth, restoration, and reaching your full potential. Seeking help can be difficult, but a more rewarding life is possible. Remember change is always happening. Take the first step and let's talk!
Hi, I’m Akemi. Welcome!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who loves helping people over 30 navigate the messy middle of life- those seasons of transition, anxiety, and self-doubt that can leave you feeling stuck or unsure of your next steps. My passion is helping you sort through those feelings, rebuild confidence, and move forward with clarity and hope.
For clients who want to bring faith into the process, I also provide Christian counseling, blending biblical truth with practical, evidence-based therapy. Whether your faith is the foundation of your life or just one piece of your journey, we’ll incorporate it in a way that feels authentic to you.
I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a brain nerd. I enjoy teaching clients what’s happening in their mind and body, why it can feel so hard to break old habits, how subconscious thoughts drive behavior, and practical ways to retrain the nervous system. (Geeky? Yes. Helpful? Absolutely.)
My style is warm, encouraging, and goal-focused. I’ll meet you right where you are with compassion, honesty, and this is the "judgement free zone", like Planet Fitness!
Outside of the therapy room, I’ve authored two books, 15 Minute Journal Prompts for the Postpartum Mom and Mindful Mandalas for Moms and I’m currently working on my third book.
While I don’t specialize in treating bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, or substance use disorders, I’m always happy to refer clients to trusted colleagues who do.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: therapy should feel like a safe, uplifting space where you can be yourself, work through what’s weighing on you, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on that journey.
Akemi McGoogan, MSW, LCSW
Welcome! Starting therapy takes a lot of courage. Having the best fit with your therapist is so important. Maybe if I tell you a bit about myself, this would help you in the process. I have been in the field for many years working with adolescents to seniors in a variety of settings. I’ve worked in private psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, prisons and private practice. Most of my clients experience depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues or relationship struggles. I take a very active approach in therapy as opposed to just listening. I try to modify my approach most suited for the client to facilitate change.
