New to Grow
As a therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals and families heal, grow, and reconnect. I provide a safe and compassionate space for you to explore your emotions and rediscover your inner strength. My approach is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I believe with the proper guidance and support, every person can create a life of whole health and happiness. I am dedicated to providing a supportive therapeutic process as you evolve into your best self and move toward the life you desire.
In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we will get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. I will ask about current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. This session is an opportunity for us to build a trusting, collaborative, therapeutic relationship. Together, we will outline goals and start identifying the steps toward healing, clarity, and personal growth.
What defines my therapeutic approach is my ability to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and supported as they work toward healing and growth. I combine evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients identify patterns, build coping skills, and make lasting changes. My greatest strengths lie in my empathy, insight, and ability to meet clients exactly where they are, guiding them with compassion while also challenging them to stretch beyond their comfort zones. Clients often share that they leave sessions feeling more self-aware, empowered, and capable of handling life's challenges with clarity and confidence.
With years of experience supporting clients with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, family and relationship challenges, I help clients move from feeling stuck or uncertain to feeling more grounded, confident, and empowered to live life on their own terms. I also work with clients who are battling alcohol and substance abuse, helping them explore the underlying emotional pain, develop healthier coping skills, and rebuild a sense of stability and self-worth.
I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to distress and unhealthy behaviors, and guide clients in replacing unhelpful thinking with more balanced perspectives, which in turn promotes healthier coping strategies. CBT is practical, goal-oriented, and evidence-based, making it effective for addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, empowering clients to develop lasting skills for managing their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I use Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations in the present moment without judgment to reduce stress, improve emotional regulation, and break cycles of rumination. Mindfulness encourages acceptance and self-compassion while fostering healthier responses to difficult situations.
