About me

I am a seasoned Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through complex emotional and mental health challenges. Holding a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work, I bring a deep commitment to evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and client-centered support. My path to becoming a mental health provider has been deeply rooted in a commitment to supporting children, families, and communities. I began my career working closely with young people and their families, which shaped my understanding of the importance of early, compassionate intervention. After earning my Master’s in Social Work, I worked as a school-based therapist, where I witnessed the transformative power of accessible, empathetic care within educational settings. Currently, after I pursued my Doctorate in Social Work, my focus has expanded to helping individuals of all ages reach their full potential and experience greater happiness and fulfillment in life. I bring a strengths-based, client-centered approach to every session, grounded in evidence-based practice and a genuine belief in the capacity for growth and healing. My work is not just a profession—it’s a lifelong commitment to walking alongside others on their journey toward well-being and empowerment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session together, I will go over many questions, ideals, strengths, and history in order to help establish rapport as well as gain insight into who you are as a person. We will work together to identify goals and progress that you hope to gain while in therapy. I will also answer any questions that you may have, and I hope to provide you with some comfort with the therapeutic process!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In therapy, I prioritize open, respectful, and empathetic communication. My style is collaborative and client-centered, meaning I actively listen without judgment, provide clear and compassionate feedback, and encourage honest dialogue. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. Transparency, consistency, and mutual respect are central to our therapeutic relationship.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as with law enforcement professionals and other first responders who face the unique challenges of high-stress roles. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and grounded in empathy and respect. Whether supporting a young person through emotional growth or helping a first responder process critical incidents, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing, resilience, and personal strength can emerge.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my therapeutic practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress and problematic behaviors. Through structured techniques like cognitive restructuring, behavioral experiments, and skill-building, I support clients in developing healthier thinking patterns and more effective coping strategies.

Psychodynamic

In my therapeutic practice, I use psychodynamic treatment to help clients explore unconscious patterns, early life experiences, and relational dynamics that influence their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By fostering insight and self-awareness within a safe therapeutic relationship, clients can begin to work through unresolved conflicts and develop a deeper understanding of themselves.
