As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am committed to helping individuals navigate personal and relational challenges with care and compassion. I take a muli-modal approach, tailoring therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. I integrate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other techniques to promote growth and resilience. My practice is rooted in providing a safe, inclusive space where clients feel supported and empowered to create meaningful change. As an LGBTQ+ Ally, I advocate for affirming and accessible care, ensuring everyone feels valued in their healing journey.
The first session involves learning about you and your goals. We will build a treatment plan and start you on your way to learning positive coping skills, how to tame your anxiety, how to relate more to yourself and your needs, or anything else you are interested in learning. We will start building solutions.
I have worked with a varied population and have learned that all people have the potential to change and grow, regardless of their station or situation. I also believe all humans are capable of finding joy and I love to work with clients on their journey.
I love working with a diverse range of individuals who are interested in exploring new ideas, who want to be actively involved in their therapy process and open to solutions.
I started using SFBT in practice to help people focus on their strengths, coping abilities and skills to create a desired outcome for their future. SFBT is a form of talk therapy that is designed to get to solutions and not focus solely on problems or the past.
AN eclectic therapy modality draws from multiple approaches to create a flexible, personalized treatment experience. By incorporating present-focused strategies, cognitive-behavioral techniques, motivational enhancement, psychoeducation, skills training and relapse prevention stratagies, an eclectic framework helps clients build resilience, strengthen coping strategies, and foster personal empowerment within a safe and supportive environment.
