I’m a therapist who believes in practical tools and deep understanding working hand in hand. I meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you move toward where you want to be. My approach combines evidence-based techniques like CBT and ACT with a focus on your values, strengths, and real-life goals. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, or just feeling stuck, we’ll collaborate to build clarity and resilience. You’ll find a safe, supportive space where we focus on creating meaningful change—together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel both hopeful and nerve-wracking. My goal in our first session is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected. During our initial session, we will begin by getting to know you—not just the challenges that brought you in, but who you are as a whole person. We will discuss what prompted you to seek therapy at this time, any current stressors or symptoms, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is grounded in meeting you exactly where you are—emotionally, cognitively, culturally, and developmentally—while helping you move toward where you want to be. Therapy with me is collaborative. I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I tailor interventions to your readiness, goals, and strengths. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational challenges, or behavioral health concerns, we focus on building skills that support resilience and long-term growth. My work is values-driven and empowerment-focused. You are not defined by a diagnosis or a difficult season. Together, we clarify what matters most to you and take intentional, achievable steps toward meaningful change. I am committed to walking with you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client values insight but also wants practical tools. They are open to exploring thought patterns, emotional responses, and behavioral habits while building strategies that promote clarity and resilience. They may not have all the answers yet—but they are willing to engage in the process. Most importantly, my ideal client is not “perfectly ready.” They simply have a desire to move forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is both clinical and integrative. I utilize CBT as a foundational, evidence-based framework to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT provides a structured, goal-oriented approach that aligns well with measurement-based care. In my practice, I frequently use CBT interventions to address: • Anxiety disorders • Depressive symptoms • Adjustment-related stress • Mood instability • Behavioral activation challenges • Cognitive distortions contributing to relational conflict

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop psychological flexibility and align their behaviors with their core values. Rather than focusing solely on eliminating distressing thoughts or emotions, I guide clients in changing their relationship to those experiences through mindfulness, cognitive defusion, and acceptance strategies. I incorporate values clarification and committed action planning to help clients move toward meaningful goals, even in the presence of anxiety, depression, or life stressors.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build on what is already working in their lives. Rather than focusing extensively on the origin of problems, I guide clients toward envisioning their preferred future and identifying small, practical steps that move them in that direction. I incorporate techniques such as the miracle question, scaling questions, and exception-finding to increase hope, motivation, and self-efficacy.
