As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in practice for over 15 years, I have worked with clients that have extensive levels of concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, social and interpersonal relationship challenges not to exclude family discord. I have been adaptable to working in many different settings. I believe the approach of meeting my client where they are is a grounding principle for my therapeutic style. Although not always in person, the distance will never be seen as a distraction. I obtained my master’s degree from Florida State University, but faced many challenges with that. Some struggles in life peak during adolescence and I was no stranger to that. Transitions were not my friend, I had to overcome many relational, financial, and educational difficulties that grew me to understanding personal struggles. I believe in a client-centered approach as all clients are the experts on what works best for them and the challenges that they continue to face. I strive to provide an environment that is non-judgmental and accepting of where you are in your process while helping you get to where you want to be. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist clients in exploring relationships among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to aid in discovering dysfunctional thought patterns leading to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a modality that assist in how trauma is seen and processed. I have worked the better part of my career assisting in trauma processing, clients have been sexually abused, physically abused, or have suffered from significant loss. I believe counseling is a journey towards healing. If you are willing to allow me on this journey with you to master any conflict in your life, I am ready when you are!

My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Being in therapy is like being on a journey, I make sure you are in the driver’s seat and I become your great working GPS, guiding you to your desired destination. I also hold a degree in finance which sometimes comes handy when helping those who are stressed due to financial needs. Among the treatment modalities I use are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Parenting, Contingency Management...

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) providing individual therapy to adults (18+) across Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky. From there, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, building a strong foundation to guide, support, and empower those I work with. My practice is grounded in a client-centered, collaborative, and trauma-informed philosophy. I view therapy as a partnership, with your voice and perspective at the center. Tara Sanders is a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and has been in the mental health field for 20 + yrs. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Clark Atlanta University and earned her Master’s of Science degree from Abilene Christian University. She has a wide range of career experience that allows her to adapt to the varied needs of her clients. Her diverse experience was derived from working in an all-male maximum-security prison, her position as a school counselor to provide counseling services to children in need of temporary, situational, and/or ongoing emotional challenges, her years acting as a mobile crisis assessor, and her role as supervisor for a state-wide crisis hotline. Additionally, she worked as a Military Family Life Counselor for 10 years overseas in Europe (German and Italy) and stateside. Tara believes that individuals who are entering counseling should feel comfortable and safe which is why she uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an approach that highlights channeling negative thoughts into positive ones. She believes that stressors in one’s life can feel unmanageable, but she helps her clients to maximize their resiliency and come to view the challenge as a bump in the road --a bump that can be moved past into a successful healthier path. Her goal is for all her patients to become open to gaining new perspectives and be willing to explore family dynamics and upbringings that have developed them into the persons they are today. Tara works with her clients to assist them with changing any self-defeating thoughts and behaviors. She truly believes that caring for yourself and your relationships are the most important task that you will ever have.

Hello, and welcome to my site! I am Elena, a trilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Atlanta, Georgia, and have been practicing since 2013. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. For the past decade I worked with incarcerated teens (and on probation, or in community) helping them approach problematic behaviors and improve these by avoiding future incarcerations. I serve pre-teens/adolescents 12-17 years old, young adults ages 18-25, and adults up to 60 by assisting them solve problems they cannot readily solve themselves. During our sessions we address issues such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, trauma, relationships, and anger management, among many other issues that might led to delinquency. My specialty is treating individuals with difficulties effectively communicating their needs within their relationships with parents, siblings, relatives, friends, etc., with an emphasis on assertiveness training for building and nurturing long-lasting interpersonal relationships. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, so I like to tailor my approach to fit my client's unique needs. Here are a few of the clinical theories I use to guide my practice: Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Hi there — I’m Jayne’, and I’m so glad you’re here! As a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Georgia and Florida, I specialize in working with those 28 and up who are high‑achievers, couples and individuals who feel deeply driven in their professional lives—yet somehow disconnected or stuck in their relationships, their sense of self, or the way they move through life. You might recognize yourself if you’ve excelled in your career or set high standards for yourself, but find that your closest relationships — whether intimate, professional, or internal — aren’t feeling as connected, grounded, or fulfilling as you’d hoped. Maybe you desire genuine and fulfilling personal connections, yet you sense that fear or an inability to be vulnerable, relational habits, past trauma or unspoken patterns are quietly shaping how you engage with others or even how you show up for yourself. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, thought-provoking, judgment‑free space to explore all of that paired with exercises and tools to connect more intentionally with others. I bring a blend of thoughtful challenge and genuine support — we’ll honor your drive and successes, while gently opening up the deeper layers of your relational world: your attachment style, your inner voice, your relational patterns, your leadership role or identity and your emotional safety. Whether you’re an individual longing to bring your hard‑won success into a more connected, authentic life or a couple seeking more alignment and connection — I’m here to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you long to be. You don’t have to settle for high achievement and relational dissatisfaction. There’s another way — one where your strengths become bridges to deeper connection, not barriers. Thank you for taking this step on the journey toward greater intimacy, presence and relational ease.

I became a therapist because therapy changed my life. Experiencing mental illness caused struggle and emotional suffering, but lead me to seek help. The support I found brought solace and healing, and eventually opened doors that led to becoming a therapist. It is such a meaningful experience to reach those who are now where I once was. Over the years I had opportunities to work in many settings, including medical and mental health hospitals, intensive outpatient, and residential addiction treatment centers, and now private practice.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. My passion for helping others began as a teenager while volunteering with children in foster care, and has since evolved into over a decade of dedicated service across various settings. I have extensive experience working with children, teens, young adults, and families, particularly those facing difficulties with behavior, focus, emotional regulation, and adjustment. I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, anger management, autism spectrum disorder, depression, trauma, grief, domestic violence, DMDD, and other adjustment-related issues. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and integrate both my personal resilience as a trauma survivor and clinical expertise to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. Clients describe me as warm, relatable, and highly supportive—someone who truly meets you where you are. My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Art Therapy, and Talk Therapy. I believe in helping clients identify root causes and build practical tools for emotional well-being and personal growth. With a strong background in working with children and adolescents who struggle with discipline, anger, attention, anxiety, trauma, and depression, I feel that I have a natural ability to connect and guide young clients in a way that fosters trust, empowerment, and change. “It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way that you carry it.” I am ready to walk beside you on your journey toward healing. If you are prepared to do the work and seek a safe, supportive space to grow, transform, and thrive—schedule an appointment with me today.

For the past 12 years, I have been practicing depth psychotherapy that values the therapeutic relationship. I came to this field in midlife, guided by a deep desire to follow what I have always loved - psychology and psychotherapy. I earned my Master’s degree in a holistic psychology program at the University of West Georgia and pursued additional training in depth psychotherapy with the American Academy of Psychotherapists. My work is grounded in Humanistic psychology and centers on the transformative power of the relationship between therapist and client. I focus on growth rather than pathology, and on understanding the whole person rather than a focus on some aspect of their experience. I am also committed to ongoing self-reflection and personal work. This helps me remain aware of my own dynamics and any barriers that could interfere with being fully present with clients and understanding my clients' life experiences. I approach each person with curiosity rather than judgment, holding a deep trust in every individual’s innate capacity for healing and growth when given the right support, insight, and meaningful therapeutic relationship.

Hello, My name is Dr. Mark Pope. I have a Ph.D. in Psychology, and I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice for over 10 years. I've worked with a wide variety of clients treating issues such as general anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, depression, PTSD, OCD, as well as those family & relationship problems we encounter throughout our lives. I worked for 15 years as an executive in public health leading an award-winning mental health and wellness program, presenting to international audiences on psychological and therapeutic issues and solutions. I've found my experience working with world class researchers and scientists to be a constant source of inspiration and the friendships I've made continue to bring new ideas and techniques into my private practice. I've also benefited from my time in the U.S. Marine Corps, which gives me insight into experiences and issues associated with military service. I continue to pursue a continuous learning approach to life, always looking to improve as a person and as a therapist. My goal is to provide my friends, family, and clients with the best me possible.

Substance Misuse
Hello! My name is Leticia Graham. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Southeast Georgia. I received my Bachelor of Science in Health with an emphasis on Substance Abuse in 1995 from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. I later decided to return to the University of North Florida and received my Master of Science in Health with an emphasis on Health Education/Health Promotion and my Master of Public Health. I worked as a substance abuse counselor for 15 years with both adolescents and adults in Jacksonville, Florida. Many of these clients were dual diagnosed clients (also suffering from mental health issues). In November 2013, I was laid off due to the grant I worked under ending and not being renewed. During this time, I have found that I would like to continue working in the counseling field on a part-time basis while my daughter is in school. It was at this time that I decided to pursue my Master of Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Christ led me to this career.
