I've been working in mental health for 15 years, and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in
Virginia, Ohio, and Georgia. Most of what I do centers around anxiety, ADHD, autism, trauma, and
PTSD — but I work with people dealing with a lot of different things, and I'm not going to tell
you your situation doesn't qualify. I see kids, teens, adults, couples, and families, so if you're
looking for someone who can work with your family across different ages, that's something I
can do.
I'm a Certified Trauma Specialist and trained in integrative mental health, which means I bring
more tools to the table than just talk therapy. I'm neurodivergence-affirming and work with
people across a wide range of identities and communities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and
single parents. A lot of my clients have been carrying something for a long time before they
finally reach out — that's more common than you'd think, and it's never too late to start.
As a therapist, I don’t offer a one-size-fits-all approach. I sit at a rare and powerful intersection of neuroscience, practical behavioral strategy, and deep, soul-level healing.
Here is who I am as a clinician:
1. I Bridge Logic and Depth
I possess the unique ability to bridge the gap between the logical, analytical mind and the emotional, intuitive self.
Through CBT, I am practical, structured, and evidence-based. I help you map out your mental loops and provide immediate, actionable tools for your daily life.
Through IFS, I pivot into a compassionate, non-pathologizing depth worker. I don't view you as "broken" or needing to be fixed; instead, I see you as a system of protective parts that deserve to be understood, healed, and unburdened.
2. I Provide Specialized, Biological Relief
My specialization in CBT-I means I deeply understand how the mind and body are connected. I don't just talk about stress abstractly—I actively solve the physiological crises, like chronic insomnia, that stress creates. This allows me to deliver tangible, measurable relief to your biological baseline so you actually have the physical energy to do the deeper emotional work.
3. I am Efficient, Collaborative, and Transformative
I am not interested in passive, aimless "venting sessions" that drag on for years without progress. My approach is active and modern. I act as a grounded guide to help you catch and rewire your immediate habits while simultaneously healing the deep-seated root vulnerabilities that drove those habits in the first place.
My Clinical Vibe
I provide a premium, sophisticated space where science meets profound self-discovery. To my clients, I am a warm, deeply empathetic anchor who can hold space for your most vulnerable inner world, while remaining sharp and structured enough to keep you moving forward toward a true internal reset.

I work with adults and adolescents with issues related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and transitioning out of unhealthy relationships. I empower women to build assertive communications skills and to understand how the family of origin and past experiences impact current relationship patterns. I work with couples to develop strategies to add life and love to their relationships and co-parenting strategies for parents living apart. I believe that empathy and the ability to relate to clients is a crucial components of the therapeutic environment. I understand from my own hardships the value of having a trusting therapeutic relationship in which to explore feelings and seek redirection to new opportunities
I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker with 5 years of experience in social work in varying helping and counseling roles. I earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia. I am also certified in Advanced grief counseling.
My goal is to meet people where they are in their journey toward improvement and assisting them to work through the barriers that come up in life so they feel more confident working through them more successfully and independently outside of therapy. I have an eclectic approach so I will adjust strategies from issue to issue. I provide a safe therapeutic space to discuss any difficulties you face in life. So far I have had the opportunity to work with people from various ages and backgrounds from four years old to over one hundred years old.
My name is Cassandra (or Cassie) DeHaney-Brown, and here is a bit about me.
I am 34 years old and I am a Christian, Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I am originally from Canada, but currently reside in the Brunswick, Georgia, area.
My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that trust is the most vital component of this shared journey. A safe, non-judgmental environment is offered where you can openly explore feelings, thoughts, and reactions to life's events. It is important that you feel comfortable and supported. I use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and Solution-Focused Therapy to achieve results quickly.
I’m a therapist who believes in practical tools and deep understanding working hand in hand. I meet you where you are, without judgment, and help you move toward where you want to be. My approach combines evidence-based techniques like CBT and ACT with a focus on your values, strengths, and real-life goals. Recovery is not just about substances. It is about reclaiming yourself. I believe we are all recovering from something, whether that is trauma, anxiety, burnout, grief, unhealthy relationships, substance use, or years of surviving instead of truly living. Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about reconnecting with the version of yourself that has been buried beneath life's experiences.
I work with millennials who are ready to better understand themselves, break unhealthy generational patterns, and create lasting change. Together, we will explore what is keeping you stuck while building practical skills that help you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and intention.
My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I create a space where you feel safe enough to be vulnerable while also feeling supported enough to grow. I believe therapy should be compassionate, practical, and empowering. You can expect me to listen with empathy while gently challenging the beliefs and behaviors that may no longer be serving you.
Whether you are navigating life transitions, relationship struggles, trauma, anxiety, substance use, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, you do not have to face it alone. My goal is to help you not only feel better but also build a life that feels authentic, balanced, and meaningful. Meet Atrews Bell, LMHC
Atrews Bell, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals navigating mental health, behavioral health, substance use, and life challenges. His approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported.
Throughout his career, Atrews has worked with individuals facing complex and challenging circumstances, including crisis situations, behavioral health concerns, substance use, and major life transitions. These experiences have given him a unique perspective on the many factors that can affect a person's emotional well-being—and the importance of creating a safe, judgment-free environment where clients can be honest about what they are experiencing.
Since 2023, Atrews has served as a Regional Mental Health Manager with Armor Correctional Services, providing leadership and oversight for behavioral health programming and clinical operations. Previously, he served as Mental Health Director at the St. Johns County Jail in St. Augustine, Florida, where he supervised a multidisciplinary behavioral health team and developed crisis-management treatment plans and quality-improvement initiatives.
His professional experience has also included developing re-entry programming and substance-use follow-up planning designed to help individuals successfully transition back into their communities. These experiences have strengthened his understanding of resilience, recovery, accountability, and the importance of having the right support system during difficult seasons of life.
As a therapist, Atrews brings both clinical experience and genuine compassion to his work. He understands that reaching out for counseling can be a significant step, and he strives to meet each client where they are without judgment. Whether you are working through stress, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, substance-use issues, life transitions, or simply want to better understand yourself, Atrews is committed to helping you identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
