Hi there — I’m Jayne’, and I’m so glad you’re here! As a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Georgia and Florida, I specialize in working with those 28 and up who are high‑achievers, couples and individuals who feel deeply driven in their professional lives—yet somehow disconnected or stuck in their relationships, their sense of self, or the way they move through life.
You might recognize yourself if you’ve excelled in your career or set high standards for yourself, but find that your closest relationships — whether intimate, professional, or internal — aren’t feeling as connected, grounded, or fulfilling as you’d hoped. Maybe you desire genuine and fulfilling personal connections, yet you sense that fear or an inability to be vulnerable, relational habits, past trauma or unspoken patterns are quietly shaping how you engage with others or even how you show up for yourself.
In our work together, you’ll find a safe, thought-provoking, judgment‑free space to explore all of that paired with exercises and tools to connect more intentionally with others. I bring a blend of thoughtful challenge and genuine support — we’ll honor your drive and successes, while gently opening up the deeper layers of your relational world: your attachment style, your inner voice, your relational patterns, your leadership role or identity and your emotional safety.
Whether you’re an individual longing to bring your hard‑won success into a more connected, authentic life or a couple seeking more alignment and connection — I’m here to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you long to be. You don’t have to settle for high achievement and relational dissatisfaction. There’s another way — one where your strengths become bridges to deeper connection, not barriers.
Thank you for taking this step on the journey toward greater intimacy, presence and relational ease.

Since earning my Master's in Social Work in 2016, I've dedicated my career to supporting individuals through life's challenges. My journey has taken me from child protective services and a mental health hospital in Colorado, to working with individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction, and serving as a school social worker across all grade levels. Now, in Georgia, I balance my private practice with working as a clinician at a crisis center, helping those in mental health emergencies. My passion lies in guiding teenagers, adolescents, and young adults through life's transitions—whether it's school, work, or relationships—and helping them find their path forward.
Hello, and welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. I look forward to working with you and your family. I believe communication—even when it is limited to a single word or gesture—is the foundation of all relationships. In fact, research shows that much of our communication is nonverbal. My goal is to help individuals and families understand their relational patterns, navigate conflict more effectively, and become more congruent and intentional communicators.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use concerns and relapse prevention, grief and trauma, and bipolar disorders. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in helping clients feel safe, understood, and empowered as they move through life’s challenges.
Additionally, I specialize in autism-related family dynamics, caregiver burnout, and identity transitions. I am the author of Dear Single Mother: A Journal of Autism, Isolation, and Self-Discovery, a reflective work that explores resilience and meaning-making through lived experience. While my writing reflects personal insight, my clinical work is rooted in systemic, trauma-informed care that honors both evidence-based practice and each client's unique experiences in the therapy room.

Hi,
I am Kamala, a FL and GA LMHC. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Jacksonville University in 2003 and my master's in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2015. Do you know why? Because even when we get through one thing, another thing is somewhere on the timeline waiting. I'm here to help you get through your "thing" now and prepare you for your "thing" later.
Hope to meet you soon.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) in Georgia and have been in practice for the past 5 years. I enjoy working with young adults and adults with anxiety and depression. I also enjoy working with individuals struggling with life transitions(i.e. switching jobs, loss of a role, marriage, divorce, entering college, graduating, transitioning into adulthood, moving, etc.). My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Being in therapy is like being on a journey, I make sure you are in the driver’s seat and I become your great working GPS, guiding you to your desired destination.
I also hold a degree in finance which sometimes come in handy when helping those who are stressed due to financial needs.
Among the treatment modalities I use are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Positive Parenting, Contingency Management...
You've made an important decision to start therapy. I'm glad you're here. It has been said therapy with me is like talking to your "auntie". I will help you see yourself but in such a nurturing way you receive it, and it allows you to do your work.
My gifting is in assessment and working with adults and couples. I have always worked in some form of mental health assessment in my career. Most recently I spent 5 years in Grady’s Psychiatric ER. Allowing me to quickly assess needs and develop a life plan with the client.
Couple work is also a skilled area for me. Especially when communication has broken down evidenced by constant arguing. Therapy can break couples out of the destructive tit-for-tat cycle. Broken trust, infidelity and unforgiveness are also areas I specialize in.
Women’s concerns and issues are important to me. I’ve done extensive work in healing their “father wound”. Tapping the spiritual relationship for healing. Topics include relationships, self development and growth. Another very successful service is my therapeutic walkthrough of popular books. Titles have included RC Blakes’ Queenology and Sophia Nelson’s The Woman Code. Currently, I am authoring The Majestic Woman Mindset, which comes from a woman’s empowerment curriculum I developed.
TALK|THERAPY LIVE, is a podcast on my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmxgzmGXbnqKKizcNu32WuA
of educational videos and live broadcasts addressing behavioral health and relationships. Sometimes with special guests. I have been a helper/healer my entire career and looking forward to this season working with those I can help the most.
So whether it’s life just happening, grief, a relationship starting or ending, relationship issues and specifically if there are struggles with depression, anxiety, or a disorder, REACH OUT…Success in life is about making good decisions. Starting therapy is always a great decision!!

During this time, I have found that I would like to continue working in the counseling field on a part-time basis while my daughter is in school. It was at this time that I decided to pursue my Master of Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Christ led me to this career.
