About me

Welcome! My name is Candice Schalit. I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, to immigrant parents. My parents instilled in me a passion for being an active listener, and with that, I speak from a position of compassion and knowledge. I enjoy the field of mental health and helping others create balance with their mental health. I am licensed in GA, SC, and ME. I am committed to helping my clients move from anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and unhealthy relationship patterns toward confidence, healthy boundaries, and emotional stability. I am committed to being your co-pilot on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself. My therapy tone is supportive and challenging, designed to help you reach your desired position in life. Whether it's a five-year or six-month plan, I'm here to help you every step of the way. I look forward to working with you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavior therapy is my primary treatment method as it helps our mind correct our conditioned patterns and behaviors.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

a short-term, future-oriented therapy focusing on building solutions and identifying client strengths, rather than dwelling on problems or past causes, using techniques like the "miracle question" and "scaling questions" to help clients visualize goals and create practical steps for change.

Candice has been more than helpful in analyzing the underlying issues that I may not have noticed and correlating that to different behaviors and my perspective on different situations. She has empowered me by calling out my positive attributes and self-resolution. I was able to dig deeper on my own and analyze myself in a better way as she has shown me how to do. I am grateful and feel seen.
