Along with identifying the triggers and symptoms I teach relaxation and mindfulness techniques to help clients reduce depressed mood and negative thinking. After 5+ years of working in community mental health both at the inpatient and outpatient levels, I have gained invaluable experience working with individuals from multicultural backgrounds and with various severe mental health diagnoses. My clients can see that I am passionate about assisting them in healing their wounds and creating their next chapters in life. Change and growth don’t have to feel scary, because I assist my clients in utilizing their strengths to take back their power! My experience includes treating individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, grief, postpartum, racial issues, trauma, life transitions, relationship conflict, substance abuse, and more. I am currently using EMDR in my practice while I am under consultation for EMDR basic training.
