New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 11 years of experience in outpatient mental health, crisis response, and program management. I specialize in providing individual, group, couples, and family counseling, integrating evidence-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered approaches. I have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams, conducting comprehensive assessments, and coordinating care across community and clinical settings. Recognized for improving client outcomes and building strong partnerships, I am committed to expanding access to quality mental health services and supporting diverse populations with compassion and expertise.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. I’ll ask questions to learn about your concerns, history, and goals for therapy, and I’ll also give you space to share what feels most important to you. Together, we’ll begin to create a plan that feels manageable and tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
One of my greatest strengths is my integrative approach—I draw from evidence-based methods like CBT, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness while tailoring each session to fit the unique needs of my clients. I’m skilled at creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood, while also helping them develop practical tools they can use in daily life. Clients often share that my balance of compassion, encouragement, and direct guidance helps them make meaningful progress and lasting change.
My ideal clients are individuals, couples, and families who are ready to make positive changes in their lives, even if they’re unsure where to begin. I work best with people who may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or life transitions, and who are open to exploring new ways of thinking and coping. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to build resilience, strengthen connections, and develop practical strategies for lasting growth. My role is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and guided as they work toward their personal goals.
I apply CBT by first collaboratively identifying the client’s thought patterns and core beliefs, then working together to explore how these influence their emotions and behaviors. Which I typically integrate structured interventions such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, exposure techniques, and skills training.
I take an integrative therapy approach, drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. The next step is to first develop a strong therapeutic relationship and understand the client’s personal history, strengths, and challenges. From there, I select interventions that best fit their situation—for example, using CBT strategies to address unhelpful thought patterns while also incorporating mindfulness to support emotional regulation, or applying psychodynamic insights to deepen self-awareness alongside solution-focused strategies to encourage progress.
