As a licensed clinical psychologist, I help adults navigate a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relational problems, sleep disorders, health management issues, and more. My approach is compassionate and culturally sensitive, ensuring each client feels understood and supported. I am committed to guiding clients toward accepting what can and cannot be changed, identifying behaviors that foster growth, and helping them build a meaningful and fulfilling life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session will focus on gathering information about your concerns and getting to know you. We will discuss your personal goals and what the treatment process may look like for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths are my ability to build strong therapeutic relationships, foster a non-judgmental and supportive environment, and tailor treatment approaches to each individual's unique needs. I bring empathy, active listening, and a commitment to evidence-based practices, ensuring that my clients feel heard and supported while working toward meaningful change. Additionally, my diverse clinical experience allows me to adapt effectively to a variety of challenges and backgrounds.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is used to increase awareness and acceptance of emotional experiences while learning to connect to the aspects of life that bring meaning and fulfillment.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT allows us to examine the connections between emotions and behaviors. I gently challenge limiting thought and belief patterns to facilitate effective ways of coping and positive life experiences.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I am nationally trained in CBT-I, which is a brief and effective treatment to address disturbed sleep. The aim of this treatment is to regulate sleep and to develop a better relationship with the bed by identifying and modifying unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that maintain insomnia.
