My journey to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor was shaped by a deep desire to support others through life’s challenges—especially during times when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or alone. Like many people, I’ve experienced how difficult it can be to navigate personal struggles without the right support system, and I’ve always been drawn to helping others find clarity, purpose, and hope during those moments. Over time, I realized that being a counselor would allow me to not only listen and empathize, but to walk alongside people as they identify their goals and uncover their inner strengths. What drives me every day is the opportunity to be part of someone’s growth—to offer a space where they feel truly heard and supported, and to help them discover that change is possible, even when it feels out of reach.
I am a compassionate and client-centered practitioner dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. I believe that growth happens in a safe, respectful environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
With a focus on practical tools and deeper self-understanding, I work to help clients build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and move toward the life they want to live.

In sessions with me clients can expect to take away supportive feedback, accountability, empowered choice, and from time to time a little good 'ole fashioned homework. Our time together in session is very valuable, but the time between sessions is useful, too. I help my clients make the most of our work together both in and out of session so that their growth translates into their everyday lives.

. Hello, I'm Brenda Ned, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life challenges. My experience spans working with clients dealing with stress, anger management, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, and social anxiety. I believe that with the right support and willingness to work towards goals, anyone can change their circumstances and improve their quality of life. My approach to therapy is rooted in several methodologies, including Rogerian, person-centered, existential, and CBT. The person-centered approach is fundamental in my practice, as it allows me to focus on your unique needs and facilitate meaningful progress through empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. I practice active listening, ensuring you feel heard and understood by rephrasing your statements and asking pertinent questions. In our sessions, I strive to be a role model through congruence, demonstrating authenticity and consistency. My commitment to unconditional positive regard means I accept you without interrupting and avoid giving unsolicited advice. I also incorporate existential-humanistic therapy, which is hopeful, constructive, and centered on the present moment, helping you build a positive and forward-looking mindset. Cognitive- behavioral therapy is another cornerstone of my practice. CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. With over twenty years in the education field and over four years of clinical mental health experience in the private hospital setting, I know how important it is to have a space to talk through what is weighing on your mind, sort through the baggage, and reorganize everything in a way that allows you to enjoy life and make the most of your journey.
I bring a thoughtful, warm, and gentle dynamic to our therapy session where you can feel welcome and supported to unpack all of you, even those parts that may be hidden away. I live my life with a spiritual context, specifically Christian based, but I am happy to meet you wherever you are in your own journey.
My name is Juanita. I would love to be able to help and emotionally support you through your grief process. I have helped several people through their grief process as well as educate them on the grief process and what to expect and what not to expect. I would be honored to be given the opportunity to help you through your grief process. I work with individuals regardless of their sexual orientation or gender.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating a major life transition, struggling in your relationships, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to slow down and make sense of it all. I specialize in working with young adults as they navigate the challenges that come with the "quarter life crisis," while also working with adults who are looking for greater self-understanding and lasting change.
My goal is to provide a space where you feel genuinely accepted, understood, and free from judgment. Together, we'll work toward helping you build self-compassion, communicate more effectively, and develop the tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence.
