About me

Welcome. I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy isn't always easy. Maybe you're carrying grief, struggling in a relationship, questioning where you fit, trying to reconcile your faith with other parts of your life, or simply feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward. I believe you deserve a space where you can be honest about all of those things without having to hide or compartmentalize important parts of yourself. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I work with adults who are navigating questions of identity, spirituality, relationships, sexuality, grief, and difficult life transitions. For clients who are LGBTQ+ and/or Christian, I offer a space where faith and identity can be explored honestly rather than treated as competing parts of who you are. We don't have to figure everything out in the first session. We'll start where you are, identify what matters most to you, and work together toward greater clarity, peace, and the ability to live according to your values. If this sounds like the kind of space you've been looking for, I invite you to schedule a first session

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be a chance for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about what's happening in your life, what you've been struggling with, what you hope will change, and what matters most to you. We'll also begin identifying some practical goals for our work together. You don't have to have everything figured out before you arrive.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My professional background includes social work and chaplaincy, giving me experience supporting people through difficult life circumstances, transitions, grief, questions of meaning, and complex personal situations. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a willingness to sit with complicated questions rather than rushing to easy answers. I believe therapy works best when we can be honest about what is happening while also identifying practical steps toward change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, clarify what matters to you, and develop the tools and confidence to move forward. I also work with clients experiencing compulsive or unwanted sexual behaviors and the shame, relationship difficulties, and personal conflict that can accompany them.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who are wrestling with questions of faith, identity, sexuality, relationships, grief, or meaning. Some may be trying to rebuild their faith, reconnect with a Higher Power, or find a way to integrate spirituality with other important parts of their lives. Others may be navigating LGBTQ+ identity, relationship difficulties, loss, loneliness, or a major life transition. I especially value working with people who want a thoughtful, honest space to explore difficult questions without being pressured toward easy answers.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

My approach is collaborative and individualized. Rather than assuming one therapeutic approach will work for everyone, we'll work together to identify what best fits your needs, goals, personality, and circumstances. I draw from different therapeutic approaches to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns while developing practical ways to create meaningful change.
