Life can be unpredictable. During tough times, having a therapist who looks at the whole picture can make a real difference. I believe that counseling can provide education, support and a plan for the direction you would like to go. Therapy is a safe place where you can explore many emotions, fears and patterns of behavior that are preventing you from healing yourself and living a life where you are content and at peace. Any answers you need about how to live the life that is going to bring you fulfillment, joy and peace, are within you. Healing requires action. You can heal yourself with some bold and decisive moves. Counseling can provide a plan of action. If you are dealing with life transitions, stress, depression or anxiety, it is time to get real with yourself and deal with anything that isn't serving you. Commit to feeding thoughts, words and actions that are going to lead to joy and growth.

Hey Everyone! I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) based in North Georgia. I have been practicing for the last 9 years after getting my Masters from Wake Forest University. Hi, I’m Ashley Smith, and I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, OCD, relationship or intimacy concerns, past trauma, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where healing and growth can happen.
One of my favorite moments as a therapist is when something finally “clicks” for a client — that moment when they begin to understand why they think, feel, or react the way they do. Even more rewarding is watching them learn how to break free from patterns that have been holding them back and begin creating the life they want. There is nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing people discover their own strength and realize lasting change is possible.

Welcome! I am glad you are here! Choosing counseling / therapy and asking for help is a big step and you will absolutely not regret it! I have worked with clients since 2002 and have been a licensed clinician since 2008. Prior to my Therapist career, I was a career Medical Service Corp Officer in the Army. My focus as your guide throughout our journey together is to use evidence-based modalities to build skills and resiliency while simultaneously reducing or eliminating the stressors that brought you to therapy.
I’ve been providing direct therapy since 2008 and am currently licensed to practice in three states. My approach is eclectic and client-centered, grounded in the belief that each individual processes and learns differently—so therapy should reflect that. Whether short-term or long-term, I’m here to support you in gaining new insight, building confidence, and moving forward in your life and relationships.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate stress, trauma, life transitions, and emotional burnout. I would love the opportunity to meet you "where you are" and serve you by utilizing the skills I have gained over my career of 33 years. Processing thoughts and feelings, developing positive coping skills and celebrating victories is my speciality. The therapeutic relationship is paramount to achieving life-changing goals. By identifying thoughts and feelings, behavior can change. This form of therapy, referred to as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my primary modality. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults specifically in the following areas: anxiety, depression, trauma and long-term mental health illnesses. My work in the realm of trauma has primarily been focused on sexual and emotional abuse. I have also done extensive work with caregivers. Some additional modalities that I utilize are Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Health Therapy, Relationship-Based Care and Psychotherapy.
I am a clinical social worker with more than 20 years of experience and practicing out of Georgia while being licensed in Georgia and South Carolina. My goal is to support individuals in learning healthy coping skills that they can utilize in their current situations as well as in the future. I practice from a perspective that learning more about yourself and how your nervous system responds, brings about empowerment in coping with life events.
Hello, and welcome to my site! I am Elena, a trilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Atlanta, Georgia, and have been practicing since 2013. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. For the past decade I worked with incarcerated teens (and on probation, or in community) helping them approach problematic behaviors and improve these by avoiding future incarcerations. I serve pre-teens/adolescents 12-17 years old, young adults ages 18-25, and adults up to 60 by assisting them solve problems they cannot readily solve themselves. During our sessions we address issues such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, trauma, relationships, and anger management, among many other issues that might led to delinquency. My specialty is treating individuals with difficulties effectively communicating their needs within their relationships with parents, siblings, relatives, friends, etc., with an emphasis on assertiveness training for building and nurturing long-lasting interpersonal relationships.
There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, so I like to tailor my approach to fit my client's unique needs. Here are a few of the clinical theories I use to guide my practice: Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Life can feel overwhelming, especially when past experiences, anxiety, or self-doubt make it hard to move forward. As a warm and grounding therapist (who isn’t afraid to add a little humor when it helps), I create a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. You just need to show up as you are. I help adults, teens, couples, BIPOC clients, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those navigating spiritual or religious trauma reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and build healthier patterns.
We all face challenges—some big, some small—that can deeply impact our lives. These struggles can feel overwhelming, draining our mind, body, and spirit. I understand this personally, having walked through my own experiences with depression and anxiety. With the support of God, professionals, and family, I was able to grow stronger through those difficult times. My journey led me from Nursing into the field of Counseling, where I now feel called to help others find hope, healing, and strength in the midst of their own challenges.

Hi, I'm so glad you're here! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Valdosta State University. I was born and raised in Nebraska but have made Georgia my home, and I truly love it here.
I became a therapist because I genuinely care about people and believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, meaningful support. I know that reaching out for help is not always easy, and I want you to know that taking that step says a lot about your strength and your commitment to yourself. My goal is to make sure that from the moment you connect with me, you feel welcome, heard, and comfortable.
I am an animal lover through and through, and that love has found a natural home in my clinical practice. I incorporate pet therapy into my work with clients, and I have seen firsthand the incredible impact that a furry friend can have on even the most difficult days. Whether it helps break the ice, ease anxiety, or simply bring a moment of joy into a hard season, it is one of my favorite tools to offer.
Outside of my passion for animals, I am deeply committed to doing work that matters. I show up for my clients with honesty, warmth, and a whole lot of heart. I believe in meeting people where they are, walking alongside them through the hard stuff, and celebrating the wins along the way — big and small.
If you are looking for a therapist who will be real with you, root for you, and work hard alongside you, I would love to connect. I can't wait to meet you.

Hello, I’m Sherry Pressley, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to helping children, teens, and adults navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can address anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD challenges, relationship issues, and life transitions. Using evidence-based, client-centered approaches, I help clients build practical skills and achieve meaningful, lasting change together.
Hi, I’m Demetria Agharese, and I help people who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves find their way forward.
My ideal clients are adults who may look like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly struggling on the inside. You may be the person everyone depends on while privately battling anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, self-doubt, burnout, relationship difficulties, or the pressure to constantly “hold it all together.”
Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink every decision, question your feelings, replay conversations, worry about what might happen, or feel trapped by thoughts you wish you could turn off. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, divorce, major life transition, low self-esteem, or simply wondering, “How did I lose myself?”
You don’t have to continue living that way.
I offer a warm, genuine, culturally responsive, and judgment-free space where you can put down the weight you’ve been carrying and talk openly about what’s really happening. I don’t believe therapy should feel like sitting across from someone who simply checks boxes on a diagnosis list. I believe you deserve to feel heard, understood, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the process.
Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness, I help clients break unhelpful cycles, face fears, manage difficult emotions, build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and become less controlled by anxiety and uncertainty.
Most importantly, therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not here to tell you who you should be. I’m here to help you discover who you are, understand what matters to you, and develop the confidence to live accordingly.
If you’re ready to stop simply surviving and start creating a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, confident, and meaningful, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Hi, I’m Tabitha Samuels, M.S., CMHC, C-DBT, LPC. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping individuals build deeper self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience. My work focuses on helping you reconnect with your authentic voice, challenge limiting beliefs, and step into the next level of who you’re becoming. I provide a warm, collaborative space where growth feels empowering—not overwhelming—and where healing leads to meaningful transformation in your everyday life.

Hello, my name is Ashbina, however, I go by Misha. I have 4 years of experience working as a mental health counselor. During those 4 years, I gained the experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and life transitions, including those related to immigration and cultural adjustment. Welcome! My name is Tameka and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have 17+ years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential, partial care, outpatient, and in-home.
It is my belief that you have everything you need within you to live your best life and be your best self, however, unhealed wounds can slow that timeline of seeing that manifest. It is my goal to guide, educate, support, and empower my clients on their way to healing.
I find great joy when my clients have that light bulb moment when they realize they in fact can be the captain of their healing/journey. I also understand that not everyone is of the mindset that they need healing and may require someone to help them build their personal road map of goals, I can also assist with that and would say I would serve in more of a coaching role for you.
Lastly, picking the right therapist can be scary, I would like to share that I find the therapeutic alliance as a collaboration of communication, honesty, and mutual respect. If you feel I am a good fit for you, I would love to walk alongside you as you explore your inner challenges and develop long-term solutions to those challenges.
Hi, I'm Shante'. I am passionate about working with ambitious women (16+) who are dealing with anxiety, burnout, career difficulties, academic pressure, or relationship struggles. So often, my client's are used to holding everything together for everyone else, and my goal is to give you a space where you can prioritize your well being. Together, we'll work on building more balance, confidence, and calm in your life, so you can reconnect with yourself and create a more fulfilling life.
Are you looking to improve your communication, strengthen your relationships, and manage conflict more effectively? Interpersonal skills are the foundation of healthy and thriving relationships—both personal and professional. If you are recovering from an emotionally abusive or narcissistic relationship and feel disconnected from yourself, therapy can also help you rebuild your identity, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and develop healthier relationship patterns.
I am a relationship counselor, currently providing individual and group therapy for adults aged 18 and older. I specialize in helping clients improve their relationship with themselves through personal growth and the development of healthier interpersonal skills, including communication, conflict resolution, anger management, boundary-setting, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills. Many individuals struggling in unhealthy, emotionally abusive, or narcissistic relationship dynamics often lose their sense of self, confidence, voice, and emotional balance within those relationships. A major focus of my work is helping clients reconnect with themselves, rebuild healthier patterns, and strengthen how they show up in relationships with others.
How you relate to yourself impacts every relationship in your life. When you learn to communicate effectively, set healthy boundaries, manage emotions, and navigate challenges in healthier ways, your relationships often become stronger, more balanced, and more fulfilling. This growth can improve confidence, reduce stress, and support overall emotional wellness.
I provide a supportive environment where clients can increase self-awareness, create meaningful change, and develop healthier connections with themselves and others. Schedule an appointment with me to begin your wellness journey.
Do you feel like you're running at full capacity with no room left to breathe? On the surface, you have it all together: the high-performing professional, the dependable parent, the supportive partner. Underneath, it's different. Anxiety that won't quiet. Depression creeping in. Burnout from roles that never let you clock out. Often it's all of them at once, tangled together until they blur.
I bring an engineer's mindset to therapy. My background in Mechanical Engineering shaped how I see problems, not as isolated issues but as complex systems needing recalibration. Most high-achievers I work with are tired of surface-level talk therapy; they want results. Together, we analyze what's actually breaking down, whether it's depression, anxiety, career burnout, or family dynamics. We build a concrete evidence-based plan using tools such as DBT and EMDR to process trauma and tackle performance issues. For over a decade, I've guided clients through major life transitions, for example career pivots, new parenthood, and loss, toward lives rooted in purpose and sustainable well-being.
Hi! I'm a licensed therapist in Georgia. I knew I wanted to be a therapist when I was in the 3rd grade. I would wait at the swing set for my friends to come talk to me about their problems. As someone who was born into poverty and struggled with traumas of my own, I know how difficult life can be at times. Being there for others was something that took my mind off of the stressors of home. After becoming a teen mom, I knew I had to change my life for the better to support my family. I went to college to both heal myself and learn how to help and heal others. I am passionate about helping others meet their goals, feel happy, and have loving supportive relationships in their lives. I believe in practicing what I preach, so you know that if I'm asking you to try something then I've tried it myself and know it works. I believe that we all have the answers inside of us, I just help you find them.

Hi, I’m Tawana Farley, a trauma therapist passionate about helping adults navigate life’s most overwhelming experiences with compassion, authenticity, and practical support. I specialize in working with complex trauma, grief, neurodivergence, and life transitions.
I have a strong background in trauma-focused care and specialize in supporting individuals who feel stuck in survival mode, and are just tired from carrying the long-term effects of chronic stress or painful experiences. I also have experience working with neurodivergent individuals, and caregivers.
My professional background includes providing therapy in non-profit settings, school-based settings, and trauma-informed environments. I am trained in EMDR and utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s individual needs. My work is deeply rooted in helping clients understand the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, and emotional experiences.
I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients grant me the privilege of entering into their world. My goal is to gently help you explore your edges, deepen your understanding of yourself, and support you in feeling truly seen, heard, and supported throughout your healing journey.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. I have 25 years of experience in the behavioral health field working with adolescents, couples, and adults seeking help with anxiety, depression, parenting issues, relationship issues, anger management, crisis and stabilization, communication issues, and life transitions issues in different care settings (residential, hospital, youth detention centers, community, and private practice).
