I have worked in the therapy field for a little over 6 years. I have worked in a community-based setting, private practice, and currently working in the school system. I tell my clients, "Therapy is safe place to talk about what you want to talk about." I have worked with all ages of clients, but due to the virtual platform, I think it is best for ages 10 and up. I approach each client with empathy and care to create a safe environment for us to work through whatever concerns you bring to the table. I typically do not come to session with an "agenda", so you are in control of how our session goes. I am always here to guide and help explore but want to make sure you're getting what you need from our time.
Healing begins when you feel seen, safe, and free to show up exactly as you are. My work is rooted in creating that kind of space, one where your story is honored, your emotions are welcome, and your growth unfolds without judgment. I blend mindfulness, somatic awareness, and acceptance-based practices with an intuitive, heart-centered approach that helps you reconnect to your own strength, spirit, and wisdom.
I hold every session with empathy and compassion, but also with realness. I believe in truth-telling that heals, the kind that may not always be easy to hear but always comes from love and respect for who you are becoming. Together, we explore not only why patterns exist but how to shift them in the body and in daily life. Our work invites peace back into your nervous system and power back into your choices.
I walk beside those who are ready to stop surviving and begin living in alignment with their wholeness. You do not need to be fixed. You need to be met, witnessed, and reminded of the power that has always been yours. In this space, healing is sacred, personal, and deeply human.
I am a master’s level licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC), (LPC) and credentialed SUD Counselor (CASAC-A) (CADC II) with training and expertise in both Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as psychodynamic treatment. I work with young adults and adults and have expertise in treating patients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, compulsive, addictive behaviors and domestic violence. I have specialized training in various evidence-based treatments for trauma such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). I hope to help patients learn effective ways to cope with stress, manage difficult emotions and communicate well with others.
We have all acquired ways of coping that get in the way of our development, and manifest as emotional pain, such as anxiety and depression. I work with clients to identify and reduce these painful symptoms. Clients are then freer to use their energy in pursuit of their goals. I work with young, midlife, and older adults. I develop a safe and collaborative relationship with clients. In that context, I do short and long-term psychotherapy and train clients to use specific protocols to modify symptoms that are in the way of personal and professional functioning. My approach provides support, guidance, and education to help you become the best version of yourself and work towards achieving your goals. I consider it an honor to work alongside you, and I look forward to meeting you soon.
I'm skilled in techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Crisis Interventions, Psycho-education and Coping skills. However, my theoretical orientation is Person Centered therapy. In our work together, I use a person-centered approach. That means I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. I’ll focus on understanding your perspective, being genuine in our conversations, and accepting you as you are. You're in the driver’s seat here, and I am here to walk alongside you.
I like to view psychotherapy and the therapeutic relationship as having a personal trainer for your emotional well being and personal life. It can teach relational skills and promote healing. It requires a commitment to yourself and serves as an investment. The return on that investment can be achieving goals, growth, and emotional satisfaction.
There are many reasons someone may seek out a therapist, regardless of those reasons my goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship that allows for healing and growth.
I am a Licensed Psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience specializing in grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, addiction, mood disorders, suicidal ideation and crisis intervention. I enjoy working with diverse cliental across all stages of life.

Lastly, picking the right therapist can be scary, I would like to share that I find the therapeutic alliance as a collaboration of communication, honesty, and mutual respect. Hello! My name is Jessica Hallman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Georgia. Many of us go throughout life having to be different versions of ourselves, whether that’s being different versions at work, with friends or with family. We get into this mode where we compartmentalize, hide ourselves and our experiences for various reasons which can include shame, pain, anxiety, anger, or fear of not being accepted. This often leaves us feeling lost, tired, unfulfilled, or unhappy.
Whether you are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, problems with relationships, or a general sense of disconnectedness, I will work alongside you to promote inner healing, self discovery, and acceptance while allowing you to feel fully seen. I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, supportive, and non-judgmental where you can gently put down the “mask” and bring your whole self.
I believe in having an individualized approach to meeting your needs. With the use of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy, I will support you in gaining strength and finding joy. My belief is that we are each uniquely the captains of our own lives and at times, just need a new or different perspective on how to navigate our experiences.
Let’s partner together, with you leading the way at your own pace (mask off), and begin the process of restoring your inner peace.

Many of us are worriers and have anxiety related to this. Anxiety can have a draining effect on your life but it is treatable. .I use cognitive and behavioral therapy combined with supportive therapy to help you get to that positive place in your life. If you're dealing with depression I'm also here to help by looking at how your thoughts feelings and behaviors influence each other and how we can work together to deal with these issues. I see patients with varying issues and from many age groups. All in all a diverse population.
I was a school psychologist for more than ten years and I do educational assessments as well as therapy for adolescents. I find teenagers are some of the most challenging and rewarding to work with.
My work is very emotionally rewarding which is why I've been in practice for so many years. I'm now considering expanding my practice to a hybrid practice which will include seeing clients both remotely and in my office. Therapy begins with me getting to know you and for you to feel comfortable with me. My name is Shontanae Green and I believe that achieving balance and alignment with our life path lead us to mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. I enjoy working with adults (particularly empaths and HSPs) to help them achieve balance and to help them reach their highest potential.
I specialize in stress management and treating anxiety and depressive disorders. I offer my clients a safe space to express their emotions and experiences freely, and without judgement. As a person-centered therapist, I serve as the facilitator of positive change, providing guidance, empathy, and unconditional positive regard along the journey.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been counseling clients dealing with a variety of mental, emotional, and relational issues for over 16 years. I have counseled adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. I decided to pursue a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy because I realized the impact that our families, and society as well, have on our mental and emotional development. The impact is both positive and negative and may manifest as depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, a lack of a sense of self and other mental and emotional disorders.
In counseling, I help clients explore those influences and the impact on their life. My specialties then center around helping clients gain insight into those influences, become more empowered, develop a stronger sense of self, and take steps to become who they really are; thereby addressing mental and emotional health issues.
It's important to note that many times, experiences unfortunately include trauma and loss. It may be childhood or other trauma. Identifying, acknowledging and processing trauma and loss is therefore often a part of the process of becoming more empowered and developing that strong sense of self described above.
