I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida. I'm experienced working with individuals, groups, couples and families. When working with an individual, couple or family I assess and addresses the entire family history, the sum of its parts, and not simply the individuals that comprise it. The distress or problem that originated may not solely be within an individual but a natural reaction to a family dynamic that creates the distress. By using Family Systems Theory I'm able to help the Client have a deeper awareness of their personal conflicts, how to resolve them, and live a more fulfilling life without addictions.
I have a Bachelor’s from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. Im experienced working with Adolescents, LGBTQ+ Community, HIV/AIDS, Domestic Violence, Sex and Love Addiction, and 12 Step Recovery.
I am a licensed therapist in the state of Florida and Indiana specializing in the treatment of burnout, high-functioning anxiety, workplace stress and depression. I became a therapist because I’ve seen how anxiety, burnout, life transitions, and the pressure to meet everyone else’s expectations can impact how we see ourselves and move through life.
My own experiences, along with my professional background, have shaped the way I connect with clients. I understand that sometimes being the “strong one” can become exhausting, and that setting boundaries or putting yourself first can bring up a lot of guilt.
In therapy, I want you to feel comfortable being your whole self without judgment. I take a collaborative and down-to-earth approach, meeting you where you are and helping you develop tools and insight that feel realistic for your life. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin creating a life that feels more balanced and authentic to you.

I tailor each session to the individual's unique needs and goals, helping clients build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change. I work with clients to identify their strengths and how to use them successfully, while navigating through life. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including infertility, parenting, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life changes, loss and grief.
My treatment style is laid back but warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. And there is always the option to meet in a virtual office setting though Telehealth. I believe therapy can and should have a place in our everyday lives. You DESERVE to Re-SET, To Re-FUEL, To Re-CHARGE. And then TAKE FLIGHT! Since entering the field of therapy I have learned to ascribe to the adage “all behavior has meaning.” Yes, ALL behavior. A deep curiosity for why we all act and think the way we do coupled with my own life’s challenges and experiences has led me to a place of compassion for not only my own life choices but compassion for others. Our thoughts lead to feelings, which leads to action. We are not always proud of our actions. As a woman, mother, wife, and veteran I know all too well the shame that comes with our personal choices and behaviors. I also know there is also a fear of JUDGEMENT when it comes to considering therapy. This is a no-judgement zone and if you are seeking a different feeling and action in your life then you have landed at the right place!
I am a clinical social worker, therapist & life coach. I collaborate with clients in facilitating their ability to navigate their journey through change. I provide clients the opportunity to learn, change and grow, and I provide guidance for them to learn healthy adaptive ways to improve their response to encounters with life stressors and challenging life situations. Clients are engaged in various evidence based therapeutic interventions and the exploration and discovery of their untapped potential, so they can harness the necessary skills and strategies to facilitate behavioral change.
In the scope of my practice I aim to empower clients through sessions that are based on a holistic, client driven approach. I view clients through the lens of their personal environment, as their well-being is significantly shaped by their life experiences. In addressing clients presenting issues, I take into consideration the correlation between their presenting issues and their environment; i.e., social, cultural and physical, that contribute to current challenging life circumstances. Focus is given to past experiences and current situations to help them navigate their therapy encounter and future successfully.
As a former CPA/business owner I bring my unique life’s experiences of serving clients, coaching teams of business professionals and personal growth to the field of counseling. As a business leader, husband and father of, now, young adults, I spent many hours with my own coaches and therapists who helped me understand my struggles and explore my strengths and weaknesses to make myself and those around me better. I use a client/couple/family-centered strength-based approach to psychotherapy that focuses on You Shaping You. The Couple Shaping the Couple. The Family shaping the Family.
