I am a therapist who helps all. If you're an adult navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, or a major life transition, and lately you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. Maybe you're working through complex trauma, postpartum challenges, intimate partner harm, or strain in an important relationship, and you're unsure where to turn. You want clarity, steadiness, and change that actually lasts. I work with individuals and couples ready to do meaningful, paced work in a space that feels safe and affirming. With nearly two decades of experience, I help clients build insight, regulate difficult emotions, and reconnect with themselves & their relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first meeting will look a bit different from our regular therapy sessions. This initial time together is called an intake session, and its main purpose is to help me truly get to know you. We will take a bird’s-eye view of your life, discuss your mental health history, and explore what brought you to therapy at this moment. Together, we will collaborate on your personal goals and build a roadmap for our work ahead. Future sessions will be much more conversational and focused on your week-to-week needs, but this first step ensures we are aligned and moving in the right direction.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I approach therapy through a deeply relational and empathetic lens, believing that a safe, collaborative relationship is the true catalyst for healing. My greatest strengths lie in my ability to practice active listening and cultural humility, ensuring you always feel heard, validated, and respected without judgment. Rather than acting as a rigid, clinical authority, I bring a warm authenticity to our sessions, treating you as a whole person rather than a checklist of symptoms. By honoring your unique lived experiences, we can co-create a gentle, supportive space where you feel secure enough to explore your history, break old cycles, and grow at a pace that feels entirely right for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Someone navigating complex life concerns who is eager to understand how to cope and support themselves through this time. For Couples it would be those who are dealing with communication or intimacy issues. For those desiring sex therapy, it would be someone needing a space to be able to talk about some things that may make them feel different or make them question if they will ever be able to gain sexual fulfillment.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Instead of helping clients fight, change, or suppress difficult thoughts and emotions, I guide them to change their relationship with those internal experiences so they can take meaningful, values-driven action

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

The client and I work together to help them recognize and change the interconnected relationship between their thoughts (cognitions), feelings (emotions), and actions (behaviors)

Couples Counseling

A therapeutic intervention designed to help romantic partners improve their relationship functioning, resolve interpersonal conflict, and alter maladaptive interactional patterns.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Create a safe space for secondary emotions (like rage or stonewalling) to peel back, exposing primary emotions (like the fear of abandonment or feelings of inadequacy).

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I let my clients be in the drivers seat to process whatever they need for the session at hand.
