I'm Michael Christopher Anthony Blake Edwards, but you can call me Mikie, a Canadian-American, U.S. trained Psychotherapist and Board Cerified Counselor, EMDR Therapist, Basic ART Practitioner, Mindful Hypnotist, Lifestyle and Wellness Coach, Qualified Supervisor (for those interested in LMHC or LMFT licensure in the State of Florida), Licensed Mental Health Counselor living in Ontario, CA. I am executive director and Owner of EPIC Flourish in the State of Florida, where I was born and raised, working with driven adults — executives, entrepreneurs, first responders, and veterans — who look like they have it together from the outside but feel scattered, on edge, or disconnected on the inside. If you've built the career, stayed disciplined, and kept pushing, and something still feels off, that's not a character flaw. It's usually a sign your mind and body are asking for something you haven't addressed yet. With 14+ years of clinical experience, I hold licensure as an LMHC, plus certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional (CMIP), and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). I've also completed Harvard Medical School Executive Education in Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching and trained in Mindful Hypnosis. I offer secure telehealth sessions across all 67 Florida counties and work with most major insurance plans, so cost doesn't have to be the barrier to getting real help. New clients are currently welcome. This isn't about becoming someone different. It's about clearing out what's in the way so the version of you who already knows how to lead, adapt, and perform under pressure can actually feel steady doing it.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in helping adults heal from trauma, chronic stress, and long-standing survival patterns. Many of the people I work with grew up navigating environments where safety, emotional support, or stability were inconsistent, and those experiences can continue to affect relationships, self-worth, and the nervous system well into adulthood. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical. I integrate trauma-informed methods such as EMDR, somatic awareness, and nervous system regulation to help clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with a stronger sense of self. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in ADHD therapy for adults, couples, families, and college students across Florida and Wisconsin struggling with emotional exhaustion, unfinished tasks, relationship conflict, burnout, or chronic overwhelm. Many of the clients I work with have spent years feeling frustrated with not being able to consistently follow through, stay organized, manage emotions, or function at the level they know they are capable of. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years as a Life Coach and ADHD Coach, studying and working exclusively with one condition: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). That experience gave me firsthand insight into how deeply ADHD can affect confidence, relationships, emotional regulation, organization, and everyday functioning over time. This foundation allows me to help clients address the emotional and relational patterns that often develop after years of feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, disorganized, or mentally overloaded. My work centers on helping people better understand how ADHD affects emotions, relationships, and everyday life so they can move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding. Together, we'll identify what's getting in the way and build practical strategies that actually fit how your brain works.

Life can be a lot sometimes. Between overthinking, relationships, family expectations, and trying to keep it all together, it’s easy to lose sight of yourself. I want therapy to be a space where you can say what you actually think, work through the things you don’t always know how to explain, and be yourself without feeling judged. We’ll explore the patterns behind your thoughts and behaviors, make sense of your emotions, and find practical ways to navigate life that feel right for you. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me. Whether you are exploring therapy for yourself or as a couple, for the first time or returning to it, let us acknowledge the courage and humility it takes to seek support outside of yourself - a powerful step toward healing, growth, and change. You may be navigating stress, loss, disconnection, conflict, anger, depression, anxiety, a difficult event, or living with trauma. You may already have insight into your challenges and are looking for the right support to nudge you forward. You are here. I have been a mental health service provider since 2004, after earning my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. I'm currently pursuing a doctorate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova Southeastern University, where my research focuses on relational resonance, relationships, and reconciliation in conflict resolution. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based practices, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance & Commitment, Mindfulness, Interpersonal, Humanistic and Client-Centered, Psychodynamic therapeutic modalities, among others. While theory and technique are crucial, I believe the heart of therapy lies in genuine human connection. I sit with you. I listen to understand your unique lived experiences. I support you. Through questioning, you are guided to the answers you seek; with your permission, I offer different perspectives and encouragement as you do the meaningful work of change. We build a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, honesty, and collaboration. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your path to greater well-being.

Hello! I’m Dr. Thuydy (pronounced "Tweety"), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Sex Therapist, and Ph.D. in Clinical Sexology. I specialize in supporting individuals and couples navigating intimacy challenges, compulsive sexual behaviors, trauma, and relationship concerns. My doctoral research focused on trauma-informed treatment for compulsive sexual behaviors, which I bring into my clinical work with compassion, respect, and a nonjudgmental approach. I understand how difficult it can feel to navigate disconnection, conflict, or shame, especially when intimacy, sexuality, or past trauma are involved. My approach is trauma-informed, sex-positive, shame-resilient, and inclusive. I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients from all backgrounds feel respected and supported, including those who identify as LGBTQIA+, engage in kink or BDSM, or practice consensual non-monogamy or polyamory. Together, we'll explore your unique experiences, identify patterns that no longer serve you, and develop practical tools for resilience, communication, and self-compassion. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, somatic interventions, and shame resilience principles to create a personalized path toward healing, connection, and lasting growth.

As a psychotherapist, I help people utilize their thinking, speaking and actions to tap into the present moment and move towards greater health and wellness. I have experience working with mental health diagnosis and treatment In both outpatient and inpatient settings, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss and trauma disorder such as PTSD. A good therapist will not shame or blame you; will not try to become your parent or your buddy. They will cheer you on your journey and at times, help you see yourself in a new and different way. They will not do the work for you. They will help you keep accountable to yourself and the goals you create together in the work. They will encourage clear communication, authenticity, patience and compassion both for yourself and others. Accountability is a necessary part of any therapeutic relationship. I require at least 24 hours' notice prior to cancelling your scheduled appointment. Same day cancellations or no shows are subject to a Grow therapy fee of $50. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across Florida from Miami to Jacksonville! If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near you in Florida.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
