Having gone through a tragic life altering experience at a young age, I know what it’s like to feel lost and hopeless about the future. When I was 21 I suffered a spinal cord injury that left me paralyzed and wheelchair-bound. Through my journey of recovery I learned firsthand, just how much our thoughts and emotions can become our biggest obstacles in life.

The scope of service that the hospital provides is quite comprehensive which afforded me opportunities to work with a very diverse population . i have counseled patients and their families dealing with a variety of illnesses, both physical and mental health, survivors of sexual assault, and also providing counseling to patients in a correctional setting.
