Welcome! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in North Carolina, with a Master’s from Rutgers University and telehealth registration in South Carolina (https://www.llr.sc.gov/sw/behavioral_telehealth.asp) as well as Florida (https://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth/). For over 20 years, I’ve helped adults navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges with compassion and clarity.
My approach is collaborative and client centered. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy to create personalized strategies that build resilience and foster lasting change. I believe in your capacity for growth and will work with you to uncover strengths, clarify goals, and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
If you’re ready to explore new possibilities and take charge of your well-being, I invite you to reach out.
I first started as a psychologist in Cuba and worked specifically with children and adults predominantly family dysfunctions and behavioral problems. I then came to the U.S. and worked as a case manager, which gave me a more hands-on experience in the field. This opportunity inspired a more rounded approach to the way I can help clients and their families.
I now work as a counselor with a more wide-spread clientele. Thanks to this background, I’ve had experience working with all age groups and different cultures, as well as different sexual orientations. I prefer to adjust my therapeutic methods to my client’s needs, but I mostly practice psychoeducation, person-centered, and CBT.

Hi there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida. I received my Master of Social Work from at the University of Central Florida. I'm a Florida native, where I've raised my children as a single mom and business owner. I have learned to roll with the punches and enjoy helping others not only survive, but thrive in adversity.
I am a licensed therapist who is passionate about helping clients navigate burnout. I am passionate because I have been there and was tired of getting unhelpful answers from people who meant well but did not seem to understand. Advice like ‘sleep it off’ and ‘take a deep breath’ we're common and it felt like I was putting a bandaid on a gaping wound. I promise, life does not need to be a constant cycle of burning out and starting again. Through our work together we will explore ways to ‘stitch’ the gaping wound so you are actually able to heal and move towards a more balanced life.
Through our work together I will use imagery and analogies to help you better understand how and why your body and mind is reacting the way it is. Like a birds eye view, I am able to see some of the signs that are right in front of you but are too zoomed in to see clearly. In a non-judgmental space I use education and a bit of humor to help you see the full picture and move towards a healthier balance.
Are you struggling with negative emotions? Do you have relationship or behavior patterns that you have tried to change, and despite your efforts, you continue to repeat them? I am passionate about helping individuals learn to love themselves, connect better with others and develop skills that support a healthy balanced lifestyle and achieve greater life satisfaction. Using a combination of video or audio-based sessions alongside tasks you complete between sessions, I will offer you a safe space to be heard, understood, and accepted. I provide a listening ear, validation, and an objective perspective. Our therapy sessions will be a safe space and an opportunity to acquire new skills & insights. We will work together to ensure you are able to share your story, gain insight & clarity and thereby accomplish those goals that previously eluded you.
As a mental health counselor, I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, and improve their overall well-being. In our sessions, we'll use various therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness and relaxation exercises, to help you gain better control over your anxiety and depression symptoms. There are times when we all experience a loss of our sense of self. You may feel like you’re on a journey but aren’t quite sure which turn to take next. Maybe you’re feeling anxious, confused, sad, angry—or simply “blah.” You may have great friends, watch self-help TikToks, and try to figure things out on your own, yet still find yourself not feeling okay or unsure of where to turn.
I bring a calm, accepting, and relatable presence to therapy, which allows me to build meaningful connections with my clients. I provide a judgment-free environment centered on calmness, peace, and support, where you can feel comfortable being yourself, expressing your thoughts and emotions, and knowing that you are heard.
Together, we will explore and process the experiences, thoughts, and situations that may be impacting your emotional well-being and daily life. My goal is to empower you to develop practical strategies, strengthen your coping skills, and gain greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Sometimes, you simply need a safe place to start. I look forward to walking alongside you as you work toward greater clarity, balance, and a more peaceful resolution.

Fulfilling our potential is a lifelong journey of becoming more at peace with ourselves, deepening the intimacy in our relationships, being more authentically human, and feeling more alive each day. Along the way, certain challenges arise to cause us distress or confusion. Such moments can make us feel held back, afraid, or unsure of where to go from here. But these moments can also be the points of growth and healing from which we renew ourselves in ways we did not think possible.
It is a great privilege helping men and women in their search to improve their relationship with themselves and others, to lessen the burden of emotional pain, to experience freedom from addictions, or to embark on new life challenges - to find the hope and courage needed to take those important next steps.
The holidays can turn up the volume on family patterns, old roles, and the pressure to feel fine. If this season leaves you tense, irritable, or quietly dreading it, you're not being dramatic. We can work on boundaries, settling your body when you're triggered, and getting through the next few weeks with more of yourself intact. What you learn will still be useful long after the holidays are over.
