Welcome, I am Tatiana, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 20 years of experience, and at the heart of my work is a deep belief in women's capacity to grow, heal, and thrive. I am passionate about helping women build meaningful, fulfilling lives by focusing not on what is “wrong,” but on what is already strong. My approach is grounded in positive psychology, emphasizing your inherent strengths, resilience, and ability to grow through life’s challenges. My specialization centers on supporting women through life’s many transitions. Whether you are navigating the excitement and uncertainty of college, the complexities of relationships and parenting, the physical and emotional shifts of menopause, or the rediscovery of self during empty nesting, therapy becomes a space for reflection, growth, and renewed purpose. Central to my work is a growth mindset approach, helping women understand that abilities, emotional skills, and confidence are not fixed, but can be developed over time through awareness, effort, and self-compassion. For moms, I offer guidance rooted in child development, supporting you in understanding your child’s emotional, social, and cognitive needs at each stage of growth. Using a strength-based, developmentally informed approach, we work together to foster emotional intelligence, build secure attachment, and create nurturing, connected family relationships. Being a mom is not about perfection; it is about growth, repair, and learning alongside your child. I view every life transition, whether individual or within a family, as an opportunity for meaningful growth. Together, we will identify and strengthen your unique signature strengths, build self-efficacy, cultivate optimism, and support your wellbeing so you can move through each stage of life with confidence, clarity, and a deeper sense of purpose.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a welcoming space to begin getting to know each other. We’ll review your initial assessment, talk about what brought you to therapy, and explore your strengths alongside the challenges you’re facing. Grounded in a positive psychology framework, our work will focus not only on healing, but also on building resilience, self-understanding, and meaningful growth. Together, we’ll clarify your goals and begin creating a personalized plan for the journey ahead—one that feels supportive, collaborative, and aligned with what matters most to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a deeply empathetic and nurturing presence to my work with women, creating a space where women feel truly heard, supported, and understood. I am a compassionate, attentive listener who values building meaningful connections and honoring each woman’s unique experiences, roles, and challenges across different stages of life. My work is grounded in the positive psychology framework and a growth-minded, strengths-based approach. I support women in navigating life transitions and parenting through various developmental stages by helping them identify their strengths, build resilience, and cultivate greater self-awareness and confidence. I am both supportive and goal-oriented, collaborating with clients to set meaningful, achievable goals that align with their values and evolving identities. Through clear, intentional communication, I empower women to develop practical tools, gain insight, and move forward feeling hopeful, capable, and supported.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you are a woman standing at an important crossroads in your life. Somewhere between the ages of 21 and 60, you may find yourself asking questions that feel both deeply personal and universally human: Who am I now? What is my worth? And how do I want to live this next chapter of my life? If you are looking for a space where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect with a sense of purpose that feels true to who you are and not who you think you’re supposed to be, then I am listening. You might be a college student looking ahead, feeling the weight of expectation as you try to make the “right” decisions about your future. You might be a mother in the thick of parenting, juggling the emotional needs of your children while holding together work, relationships, and the endless mental load. You might be preparing to send your children off to college, grieving the loss of a role that once defined you while wondering who you are beyond it. Or you may be navigating hormonal changes, relationship shifts, or personal transitions that are gently, or forcefully asking you to redefine yourself. You are someone who carries a lot. You strive for perfection, often setting impossibly high standards for yourself. No matter how much you do, it can feel like you’re falling short at home, at work, and even within your own mind. You give so much to others that your own needs are often pushed aside, leaving little space to check in with yourself or honor what you’re feeling. And yet, you are incredibly resilient. You have faced hard things, weathered losses, and survived seasons you never imagined you would. You are still standing. There is a deep determination within you, a desire not just to get through life, but to truly grow, learn, and live fully. You want more than survival; you want meaning, confidence, and a sense of inner steadiness. You are ready for support that honors your strength while gently helping you move forward. You are ready to replace self-criticism with self-compassion, pressure with purpose. You want to reconnect with your values, develop a growth mindset, and step into this season of life with clarity and confidence. You are not looking for perfection, you are looking for wholeness, and you are ready to become the fullest version of yourself.

My treatment methods

Positive Psychology

I use Positive psychology when working with women because it focuses on building strengths, resilience, and optimism rather than dwelling on deficits or past difficulties. By applying its principles, I can help women identify and amplify their signature strengths (like courage or creativity) and cultivate positive emotions, enabling them to navigate life transitions, such as career changes, motherhood, empty nesting and menopause with greater purpose, self-efficacy, and well-being.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help women better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, especially during times of stress, transition, or overwhelm. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs, explore how they impact daily life and relationships, and develop more balanced, supportive ways of thinking. Using practical, goal-oriented strategies, I support women in building coping skills, increasing self-compassion, and feeling more empowered as they navigate life transitions, parenting challenges, and personal growth.

Humanistic

I use a humanistic therapy approach to support women by creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where they feel seen, heard, and valued. By emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and personal agency, I help women connect with their inner strengths, gain deeper self-understanding, and move toward growth, self-acceptance, and meaningful change.
