I have a Master’s degree (Summa Cum Laude) in Marriage and Family Therapy and am currently a third-year PhD candidate in Couples and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. I am professionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, solution-focused therapy, Bowen’s theory, Gottman Method, CBT, and more. I work mainly with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief & loss, trauma, self-esteem, or relationship issues. I also work with clients who want to work on self-growth and gain more insight in life.

I specialize in grief and loss. Grief and loss can include death, break-ups/ divorce, relationship transitions, illness, pet loss, job loss, loss of home, or experiencing a move. Even positive life changes in life can bring feelings of sadness and loss. Grief can be overwhelming and can accompany a lot of additional feelings some of those can be anxiety, anger, sadness, resentment, and relief. I help clients by helping validate and explore these emotions, identifying coping skills and support, and giving them the tools to rebuild their new normal. Other common issues include anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, coping skills, and family conflict.
