Together, we will reach the other side.” These words continue to resonate deeply with me and shape my compassionate, supportive practice.

I’m a licensed therapist in both South Carolina and Florida with years of experience working across inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment, detox, and outpatient settings. I’m passionate about helping clients understand what they’re experiencing, gain clarity around their challenges, and develop practical tools that create meaningful, lasting change.
Therapy should be more than simply talking about the same problems week after week. My goal is for you to get the most out of your time in therapy, to leave sessions with greater insight, useful strategies, and a clearer sense of what you can do differently. I work collaboratively with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, ambivalent, or unsure of where to begin, helping turn uncertainty into direction and progress.
My approach is grounded in a “scaffolding” philosophy. Early in therapy, you may need more support and guidance, much like training wheels. As we work together, the goal is to build your confidence, problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate challenges independently. I’m not here to make you dependent on therapy; I want to help you become more equipped to handle life beyond the therapy room.
Change can be uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to feel impossible. I bring a confident, compassionate, and solution-focused approach to therapy while creating space for honesty, growth, and even some humor along the way. Whether you’re looking for clarity, coping skills, healthier relationships, or simply a better understanding of yourself, I’m here to help you make meaningful progress.

Hello potential client! You are hurting in some way if you are here reading this. Maybe you feel like you are getting more and more stressed out and just one more stressor would be too much for you to handle. Maybe you worry all the time about everything and can't stop. Maybe you are sad all the time and don't enjoy doing things that used to be fun. Maybe you are feeling helpless or hopeless about what to do. Maybe you have been through a traumatic experience or are grieving. Maybe you are thinking the way you have been using substances is causing you problems. You have tried your best to help yourself but nothing has worked the way you hoped it would. You don't know what to do but you do know you can't keep going the way you have been.
This is where I come in! I help people who are ready to change for the better! My heart is for helping hurting people and I strive to treat all of my clients with the compassion and respect I believe they deserve. The most important part of positive change in a therapeutic relationship depends on just that - the relationship between the therapist and the client. I also use a variety of resources to help my clients. These include evidence-based types of therapy, worksheets and measurements. I also offer Christian counseling to those who are interested and am also happy to work with people of other spiritual beliefs.
I offer free consultation calls so we can both decide if working together would be a good fit for both of us. I look forward to hearing from you if I sound like I would be your kind of therapist!

I am first and foremost a lover of people. My approach is authentic, supportive, empathetic, and understanding of the difficulties many experience in life having to manage mental health symptoms, feelings of being alone/misunderstood, dealing with the ramifications of historical trauma and the impact these can have on one's current relationships. My greatest strength is quickly building rapport and focusing on holistic wellness (mentally, emotionally, spiritually, physically) and the connection between them. I am devoted to best care practices and excellent service delivery. I align myself well and tend to the immediate needs, desires, and goals of the person I'm working with. I don't believe that therapy is about learning to 'suffer less' but to work towards realizing one's full potential and highest level of functioning, identifying and working to resolve barriers that stand in the way, and developing the ability to trust in oneself, and one's ability to thrive in life. Every goal that is important to my client is important to me.
Hello, I'm Jonathan. As a christian counselor I understand that the challenge for anyone who wants to change is to find the inspiration and motivation to start and then the confidence to continue. Once you do, you will find that the blessings far outweigh any hardships it took to get there.
I will help you find the inspiration, motivation, and confidence you need to embrace the challenge to change. You cannot possibly imagine all the wonderful things yet to happen.
I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 30 years in the mental health field. I hold a Doctorate in Biblical Studies, a Master's in Professional Counseling, and a bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology.
My core belief is simple: I believe in you and your ability to become the healthiest, most fulfilled version of yourself. Life often makes it hard to see that potential, let alone know how to get there. My role is to be your guide and ally on that journey.
My path to becoming a clinician has been intentional. Beyond my master's degree in counseling and advanced post-master's training, my work in non-profit and community mental health has given me a breadth of experience with people from all walks of life. This doesn't mean "I've seen it all," but it does mean that I'm prepared to meet you where you are, without judgment. No matter what you're going through, if you are ready to take a step, so am I.

My work primarily involves supporting adults, adolescents, and children in comprehending and processing their past and present traumas. I firmly believe that all mental health challenges have underlying origins, and I guide my clients in uncovering these sources, leading to a significant reduction in their symptoms.
Therapy isn't just about talking. It's about getting results. I offer the kind of therapy which provides my patients with the results that they are seeking.

My goals for each patient are individually thought out according to a collaboration between patient and therapist. I can teach you how to become your own best advocate. My objective as your therapist is to assist you in becoming the best you can be in the environment in which you live. People start to heal the moment they feel heard. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or patterns that are hard to break, especially when stress, grief, or addiction has started affecting your relationships, emotions, or daily life. Trying to hold it all together on your own can feel exhausting. You don’t have to do this alone. I provide a supportive space where you can better understand what you’re carrying, begin untangling what’s keeping you stuck, and move toward greater clarity, stability, and emotional balance.
I work with adults facing anxiety, addiction, depression, stress, grief, life transitions, relationship issues, family conflict, and mood-related concerns. Through online therapy, I help clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools that support healthier patterns and day-to-day functioning.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I create a space where you can feel heard, supported, and challenged in helpful ways while we work toward meaningful change. Together, we’ll build skills, strengthen resilience, and create a clearer path forward. When you’re ready, I’m here to help.
