I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity questions. My style blends depth-oriented therapy — exploring the deeper patterns and stories that shape you — with practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I spent nine years on the Boulder Crisis Team, providing psychiatric evaluations in ERs, jails, and walk-in clinics, which taught me how to stay calm and effective in moments of distress. In our work together, we’ll use both insight and skills — helping you understand the roots of your struggle while learning concrete ways to regulate emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and create a more meaningful, resilient life.

Hello!
I'm a bubbly, laid-back person who also believes in the importance of assertive communication. I love meeting new people of different cultural backgrounds.
In my practice, I enjoy working with people who are adjusting to a new life, including teenagers, young adults, and older adults. Transitions can be extremely difficult leading to trouble making decisions, worry, depression, and substance abuse. It can be difficult to function well or thrive while adjusting to life right outside of college or adapting to retirement life after a full-time career of many years. Finding your way can be an exciting journey yet also bring about anxiety you may have never experienced before.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Texas and Colorado. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin and obtained my Master of Science in Counseling at The University of North Texas. I have 14 years of experience working in the mental health/substance use field and have been in private practice for 3 years.
My background in public schools and private practice has allowed me to support clients across many stages of life and experiences. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to your individual needs. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard and empowered to make changes at your own pace.
In addition, I have a passion for those with chronic pain. Chronic pain can be debilitating. It can keep you from reaching your goals, enjoying the things you love, and from the things that you need. Through Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), there can be a way to get your life back. As someone who has also suffered from chronic pain, I know the struggle is real. The pain is real! If you are reading this, you are not ready to give up. It is ok to be skeptical, I get it because I have been there. Call, email, or schedule your first session and take the road towards recovery.
All sessions are conducted remotely, allowing you to participate from the comfort and privacy of your own space. In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process, then work together to create a plan that feels realistic and encouraging. If you’re ready to begin I’d be glad to connect with you.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, birth doula, yoga teacher, and professor with a passion for walking alongside people through life’s most complex seasons. My work is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and a belief that healing involves the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
In my practice, I specialize in reproductive and perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, and supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and life transitions. I also work with clients facing chronic illness and the lingering impact of stress and anxiety. My integrative approach may include traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, yoga-based techniques, and psychoeducation, tailored to fit your unique needs and goals.
Clients often describe me as calm, supportive, and practical. Whether you are seeking short-term support or long-term healing, we’ll work together at your pace to create meaningful change.
Beyond the therapy room, I teach and mentor future social workers, which keeps me grounded in both current research and real-world practice. My experience as a doula and yoga teacher allows me to bring a holistic, nurturing lens to therapy that honors your strengths while addressing challenges.
Above all, I want you to know: you don’t have to walk this path alone. Healing is possible, and I would be honored to support you in finding your way forward.
If you're reading this, then you have made a tremendously brave and important step in seeking self-betterment through individual counseling. Whether life can seem steady or unsteady at times, we all, nevertheless, lose track of our coping skills and rely on unhealthy habits and poor routines from time to time. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centric, Narrative Therapy, and the best evidence-based practices. My specialties include working with medical issues and physical health, intimate and romantic relationships, sleep disorders, bipolar disorder, gender identity, LGBTQIA+ support, multicultural and diversity issues.
I specialize in helping adults understand the connection between past experiences and present-day patterns. My approach is direct and collaborative. Together, we use a blueprint that balances emotional identification and processing with data-point mapping to better understand how the mind shapes thoughts, behaviors, and day-to-day life, often outside of conscious awareness. We identify triggers, core beliefs, learned coping patterns, and recurring reactions, then examine how they influence relationships, decision-making, and other areas of present-day functioning.
The goal of our work is not simply to understand why these patterns exist, but to recognize them as they happen and develop more intentional ways of responding. Through this process, many clients report experiencing greater self-awareness, increased emotional insight, and a stronger sense of control over their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Hi, I'm Robert Soucy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 18 years of experience in behavioral health and addiction services. As a man in long-term recovery, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to the counseling relationship.
I work with adults facing addiction, anxiety, depression, men's issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, self-esteem challenges, relationship difficulties, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and other proven approaches tailored to each client's needs.
I believe that healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. Whether you're seeking recovery, greater self-confidence, healthier relationships, or a deeper sense of purpose, I provide a safe, affirming space where meaningful change is possible. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, build practical tools for growth, and create a path toward the life you want. No matter how difficult things feel right now, I believe there is hope for healing, recovery, and lasting change.
I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move toward the life you want to create.
I work with individual adults in Colorado and Hawaii who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship changes, infertility, career decisions, stress, or simply feeling stuck. Sometimes clients come to therapy because of a specific event, while others have a general sense that something isn't working anymore. Wherever you're starting, we'll work together to identify your strengths, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools for lasting change.
My approach combines evidence-based psychotherapy with a whole-person perspective. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered counseling while tailoring each session to your individual needs and goals. I believe emotional wellness is influenced by every part of our lives, and therapy should honor the unique experiences, values, and strengths that each person brings into the room.
Whether you're looking for support through a difficult season or seeking greater purpose, balance, and fulfillment, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Hello, and welcome. I am Dr. Samuel Hickson, PhD, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist, neuropsychotherapist, clinical researcher, educator, and healthcare consultant dedicated to providing evidence-based psychotherapy for adults. My practice is built on the belief that healing begins with understanding ourselves, rebuilding trust, and developing the resilience needed to navigate life's challenges with confidence and purpose.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, healthcare-related stress, identity transitions, chronic illness adjustment, grief, and major life changes. My therapeutic approach integrates neuropsychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-based practices to create individualized treatment plans that are both compassionate and grounded in scientific research.
My professional background extends beyond traditional psychotherapy. With over 14 years of healthcare experience, a PhD in Human Behavior, an MBA focused on Corporate Social Responsibility, and extensive work in clinical research and behavioral health, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective that bridges neuroscience, psychology, healthcare systems, and organizational well-being. This allows me to understand not only the emotional challenges my clients face but also the broader healthcare, workplace, and life circumstances that influence mental health.
In addition to psychotherapy, I provide professional consultation in risk management, clinical documentation, quality improvement, standards of care, and behavioral health operations for healthcare organizations and private practices.
Whether you are seeking support during a difficult transition or looking to strengthen resilience and reconnect with your values, my goal is to provide a collaborative, respectful, and affirming therapeutic environment where meaningful, lasting change can occur. I welcome the opportunity to partner with you on your journey toward growth, healing, and living a more fulfilling life.
I'm David Rothman, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) offering telehealth therapy for adults and couples throughout Colorado. I work with clients facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions, using a warm, collaborative, attachment-focused approach centered on creating a safe space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected.
I believe meaningful therapy starts with a strong therapeutic relationship. Together, we'll explore the experiences, emotions, beliefs, and relational patterns contributing to your distress — not just to reduce symptoms, but to help you build a deeper understanding of yourself and create change that lasts.
My work draws on several evidence-based and insight-oriented approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy. Depending on your goals, we might focus on building practical coping strategies, shifting unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, understanding how past experiences shape the present, or strengthening emotional connection and communication in your relationships.
For couples, I help partners uncover the emotional patterns beneath conflict and disconnection. By building greater emotional awareness, improving communication, and fostering a deeper sense of security, couples can move toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
Whether you're navigating anxiety or depression, processing trauma, working through relationship difficulties, or facing a significant life transition, therapy offers a space to slow down, gain perspective, and discover new ways of responding to life's challenges.
I strive to meet every client where they are — without judgment, with thoughtful guidance and practical tools. My hope is that our work together helps you build self-awareness, strengthen your relationships, grow resilience, and create lasting positive change.

I tailor treatment to each person's strengths, goals, and pace, and I believe real change happens when clients feel genuinely seen and safe enough to go deeper.
Hello! I'm Alyssa and I'm so excited to be (potentially) working with you! I have always enjoyed helping others so I figured why not make a career out of it? I want to create a calm and supportive space where you can explore your story at your own pace. I draw on evidence-based practices and a trauma-sensitive lens to help you process the past, understand your everyday patterns, and cultivate resilience. I honor the courage it takes to seek support, and I walk alongside you as you discover your capacity for growth, connection, and renewal.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and the owner of Thrive Counseling & Wellness, a virtual private practice dedicated to helping individuals find healing, resilience, and renewed hope. For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, and life's unexpected challenges.
My passion for this work comes from a deep belief that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I know that many people carry invisible struggles while appearing to have everything together on the outside. Creating a space where clients feel safe enough to be authentic, vulnerable, and fully themselves is at the heart of my practice.
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are while helping them identify practical tools for lasting change. My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and EMDR, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual's unique experiences and goals. I have a special passion for supporting individuals living with chronic illness, chronic pain, high-functioning anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of medical trauma.
I believe therapy is about more than reducing symptom; it is about helping people reconnect with themselves, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. It is truly an honor to earn my clients' trust and to witness the courage, growth, and resilience they discover along the way.
I am Grant Marylander, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Grief Counselor, and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional practicing in Boulder, Colorado. My path to this work was not a straight one. I spent more than thirty years as an attorney before a close friend's terminal diagnosis changed everything. Sitting with him at the end of his life, I knew this was where I belonged, not in a courtroom, but in the hardest and most human moments people face. That conviction led me through palliative care, hospice grief counseling, and community mental health before I founded Share Your Grief.
I work with two groups of people who, in my experience, often have more in common than they might expect. The first are individuals navigating grief, not only the loss of a loved one, but any loss that has quietly unmade a life: a diagnosis, a divorce, a career, an identity. The second are high-functioning professionals whose outward success masks an internal exhaustion driven by anxiety, perfectionism, and the relentless pressure to be more and do better.
What I offer both groups is the same thing: a space where nothing they feel is too much, and a clinically grounded approach that goes beyond surface-level coping to address what is actually underneath.
The impact I hope to have is not simply symptom relief. It is transformation: helping clients move from surviving their pain to understanding it, and from understanding it to carrying it with greater ease, self-compassion, and clarity about what they value most. Grief and anxiety have a way of stripping life down to what matters. My job is to help you find your footing in that stripped-down place and rebuild from there.

Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. Texas. Oregon, Pennsylvania and Iowa; I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Colorado. I have over 15 years of experience counseling individuals, couples, and groups. I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since 2010, my studies and career have focused on identifying underlying problems contributing to substance use and problematic behaviors. I find that trauma is typically the most common underlying issue that contributes to anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship problems and a lack of self-esteem.
I specialize in the treatment of trauma using several approaches: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT): Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); and Polyvagal therapy.
Stepping into counseling is a second career for me. Before this work, I spent many years as an accountant, but I found myself wanting deeper, more meaningful connection with people. That desire to sit with others in their real, human experiences is what led me to become a counselor.
I’ve personally navigated many of the same challenges that bring people into therapy. This doesn’t make me an expert in anyone else’s life—it simply means I understand, on a human level, how vulnerable it can feel to open up, and how much courage it takes to work toward change. I believe change is a gradual process, and each person moves at the pace and in the way that fits them best. My role is to offer empathy, support, and a space where your experiences are met with respect and understanding.

I was born and raised in Iowa where I lived for 50 years until I moved to Colorado in 2017. I graduated with my master's degree in social work from the University of Northern Iowa in 2010. It was then I began working as a LMSW in emergency departments which I continue to do. I received my LCSW certification in 2/2021 and began my journey as a therapist shortly thereafter. I have extensive experience working with trauma of all kinds and utilizing many different types of modalities. I love animals and living in the mountains where nature provides me with therapy. I was a foster child and aged out of the foster care system and am a strong advocate for children. I work with couples and work with children and families working on co-parenting.
