My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in evidence-based therapies. I work with adults of all genders, including individuals and couples, who are navigating emotional, relational, or life challenges. I focus on helping clients make sense of their experiences, rebuild self-trust, and develop tools that support meaningful, lasting change. Many clients leave therapy feeling more grounded, empowered, and better equipped to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, we will take time to get to know each other and begin understanding what has brought you to therapy. You will have space to share your concerns at your own pace, and I may ask some questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and goals. We will also talk about what you hope to get out of therapy and begin identifying initial areas of focus. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported, while starting to build a clear direction for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and safe to explore difficult experiences. I bring a balance of empathy and directness, helping clients not only process what they’ve been through but also move toward meaningful change. A key part of my approach is how I integrate evidence-based therapies such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, and trauma-informed care in a way that is flexible and tailored to each client. I also have specialized training in pathological love relationships (narcissistic abuse), which allows me to support clients in rebuilding self-trust, setting boundaries, and making sense of complex relational dynamics. Clients often leave feeling more grounded, clearer in their thinking, and more confident in how they move forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, gently challenge these thoughts, and develop more balanced, realistic perspectives. I also incorporate practical strategies such as behavioral activation, coping skills, and between-session exercises to support clients in making meaningful, sustainable changes in their daily lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I apply Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop greater psychological flexibility in the face of difficult thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. I support clients in learning to observe and accept internal experiences without becoming overwhelmed by them, while identifying their core values and committing to actions that align with those values. I often integrate mindfulness, cognitive defusion, and values-based goal setting to help clients move forward in meaningful and sustainable ways, even in the presence of ongoing challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) helps clients understand the patterns that maintain their sleep difficulties. I work collaboratively to restructure unhelpful beliefs about sleep, establish consistent sleep routines, and implement evidence-based strategies such as stimulus control and sleep restriction. I also incorporate relaxation techniques and psychoeducation to support clients in improving sleep quality and building long-term, sustainable sleep habits.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps clients process distressing memories that continue to impact their current functioning. I guide clients through structured phases to identify and reprocess these experiences, allowing them to reduce emotional intensity and develop more adaptive beliefs about themselves. Throughout the process, I prioritize safety, stabilization, and grounding to support clients in building resilience and moving toward healing.

Trauma Informed Care

In my practice, I use a trauma-informed care (TIC) approach informed by my specialized training in pathological love relationships (PLA), more commonly referred to as narcissistic abuse. PLA involves patterns of manipulation, coercive control, emotional exploitation, and intermittent reinforcement that can significantly impact a client’s sense of self, safety, and reality. I recognize the lasting effects of these dynamics, including trauma bonding, erosion of self-trust, and difficulty with boundaries. My work focuses on stabilization, psychoeducation, boundary development, and meaning-making, while supporting clients in rebuilding identity, restoring self-trust, and moving toward recovery and resilience.
